Important Update - Missing Threads/Games + Process Change + Theme Color Feedback

Some of you may have noticed that parts of the Games section (and other areas) look like content is missing. You’re not crazy - we’re seeing missing threads too, and we’re actively investigating what happened.

What we know right now

• Tearson’s account is still active:
  https://lewdcorner.com/members/mr-tearson.23947/
• However, a number of threads associated with Tearson (including game-related content) appear to be missing on the live site.
• Apollo did handle changes related to Tearson’s request - but at the moment we’re not fully certain if the missing content is from a deletion action vs. something that went wrong during a past restore/rollback.

Good news: we can restore the missing threads/content from our TestingLC domain/server backup.
Once we’re fully available, we’ll restore what’s missing and verify the Games/content lists are back to normal.

Important note going forward (this is the key part):
If a user requests their content/name to be removed, we (thee admin's) should NOT handle it by deleting major threads that keep the site running (games, guides, announcements, help threads, etc.).
That process needs to be handled by a Moderator so we can properly:

• transfer/retain ownership (so staff can maintain/update the threads),
• preserve important site content,
• and keep continuity without nuking sections of the forum.

So if anything like this ever happens again: staff/mod team handles it - not a quick wipe. That’s the correct workflow.

If you remember a specific game/thread that’s missing, please reply with the title or an old link. That helps us confirm we restored everything.

Theme color preferences (quick community input)
While I’ve got everyone here - what direction do you want for the main theme colors?

• Backgrounds (main + secondary)
• Panels/cards (post areas, widgets)
• Borders/dividers
• Menus/header/footer
• Links (normal + hover)
• Notifications (bell + alert badge colors)
• Buttons (normal/hover/active) + accent highlights

If you can include a hex code (example: #0b1018 / #6ac2ff) or a screenshot of a style you like, that helps a lot.

Theme color preferences (quick community input)
While I’ve got everyone here - what direction do you want for the main theme colors?

Not specific to colors... But I would love it if the forum didn't take up the entire width of the screen. I think there's merit to posts (the content part of them) be as wide as an A4 piece of paper.

You'll see people write extremely long sentences without punctuation that just keep going on and on and on there's just no stopping them. These sentences take up the entire width of the screen which makes them really i mean really uncomfortable to read. I'm sure you see what I mean if you try to parse this line and have your browser window maximized on a large-ish monitor.

Or if you're on a smaller monitor:

That was a thread by "Guz89", whom you probably remember, a former moderator and administrator.
It wasn't a game thread, but it was still an important thread and must have been lost accidentally.

Please restore it.
It would be a shame if the memories of important events contained in it were lost and someone later claimed that they never happened.

I like the overall blue theme. The only thing I think I'd recommend is a little more contrast between the blues, either by making the lighter blues brighter or the darker blues darker, or maybe something to outline the various post/comment windows? Although outlining them may look tacky.

Yeah, I can only say that a certain person - who I shall refrain from naming - who uses blue text in their posts, might just make my eyes bleed and give me a bit of a migraine while trying to read their posts because of the blue-on-blue. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but like, man...

I would say if there's a way (I am entirely not knowledgeable at this so maybe there isn't, please let me know) for users to choose a "plain text mode" or something, so they could simply see all posts in a single color, single font, single size text, I could certainly see that being nice for some people who may have issues reading some of the more "out there" font choices some users like to choose.

I actually personally prefer the opposite. I want as much horizontal space as possible. I absolutely loathe how all of the current social media sites have half of the screen as dead space on monitors because they're building the layouts in portrait mode for phones/tablets instead of computers, so having that horizontal space back on forums is much preferable to me. Less vertical scrolling required.

That said, I do recall the previous system (or at least one of them) had a toggle that went between wider and "thinner" footprint. Not sure how that was implemented or if it's in the cards for this system, but I guess if others were looking for the thinner layout, I would at least prefer it to be done that way over getting rid of the fullscreen that we have, if possible.

Also I didn't know content that didn't break the rules could be deleted. Most forums you post something if a mod didn't nuke it it was up forever (or at least as long as the forum lived).
