discussion Anti-Social & Lurker - Hideout spot

[highlrecommend]

Ah no, I didn't say it because he seemed upset, I said because I would say 3 days with such extensive activity is more than fair.

"Mass exodus" isn't really mass, I can't tell you much but we gained more users than we lost.

well others make it sound like everyone left & thats the reasoning for no one posting.
i'm new, i rely on the past users (see shawnchapp's post)

dam its quiet in here... weird.

if you don't like it, you don't have to be here

correct, yet I am & speaking to you about the reality of things.

[Indigo Vibes]

There is no need for that, he is frustrated but as long as he gets why it is how it is there is no issue. P5 is for the best contributors, you can't get it in a week.

I wasn't telling them to leave, I was reminding them that they're not forced to be here if they really don't enjoy it and they really don't seem like they do.

Because from the perspective of this one thread only almost everyone left. From my perspective, as someone who didn't show his face here and contributed on other threads nothing really changed. People who left were contributing here.

well you make me not want to be here, have a nice day
I'm not frustrated, I'm confused as fuck, right, left, up & down are something else on this site & after 3 days i still have no fucking idea what that is

There is no need for it guys, really.

@highlrecommend You joined during very turbulent times. If you still want to know something, feel free to ask, but at this point I believe you should know everything about current AC situation.

Idk what kind of black magic math did you use, but I just checked the internet calculator how much would you have after a year with 2% daily interest if you started with 1000 and it's around 8300 coins, not millions.

Ok, idk why 2 different websites gave me 2 different results. I calculated it myself and you are right (not with exact number because bank allows fractions of coins so after a year it would be 1350400 but yeah).

Actually I switched interest to daily, I don't know why it gave the number I said earlier.

Yes, you are right, that's it, after I translated "compounded interest" to my language that made sense.

Without using any site I can personally tell you that putting just 40k in the bank around June/July 2024 netted me 1m around November 2024 and nearly 1b, 12 months later before the fuck up and site rollback. Maybe you should actually check things out properly next time.

I don't know why you're telling me that. That comment wasn't antagonistic or even directed at them. If I'm gonna get scolded like I'm doing it anyways though I can get antagonistic.

I did, and said the person in question was right after all.

Okay, I will tell you point-blank. Many of us have given you 'likes' to help you out even though you have not done the same because you saw no reason to do so if you got nothing out of it. Now if that is not good enough, then just do what you do, but do not expect any of us to care about your plight. I will focus on others that are willing to contribute.

You call that a scolding? Cmon, just look at recent posts and see how it is slowly blowing up out of proportion. I didn't scold you, I just know what will happen next if everyone won't cool down.

I mean, it's a slight exaggeration by strict definition but yeah you were basically telling me off because you didn't like how you interpreted what I was saying even though it was just a matter of fact clarification of my previous comment. You might also noticed that I stopped engaging with them even though they directly replied to me.

though, again, if you want to keep telling me to cool down even though I never got heated, I can warm things up to even it out.

Not everyone left just lot of the veteran yappers, thats why it seems so quiet nowadays, there was a time where this thread couldn't even go 2 seconds without a new post and alot of it was cause of us yappers just sitting around and shooting the shit..

it seem even worse from you view cause you joined during a rough patch after this site was down for 2 days and we had some problem here and there. i'm hoping once all the upgrades are done and things get back to being stable things can start to get back to where they once were.

Most did not leave; they are just waiting for things to simmer down, like I did. Your input has been great while this has been going on. I'm sure many are peeking in just to keep tabs on the situation. Then things will get back to normal. (With posters being their abnormal selves.)

If that's the case, I recommend them to wait a bit more, few people work full speed ahead on some changes and as much as we do try to prevent any mishaps like last time you can't predict everything.

I havent really talked in this chat for a few months, though i did some lurking the past few week, i noticed it seems alot slower than it used it be, not as many likes going around and stuff.

Dear Mr. Heisenberg, if you are going to post here, then you need to make your post more meaningful, or an evil Mime will come looking for you!
