If there is one thing every lazy dev trying milk some game can count is some sycophant white knighting for him and eager to lick his ball sack in public.

That's weird.
Side project but it's a copy of another one with almost no content... And it keeps the font of the main project (The Murphy's) that people are still waiting, wich doesn't fit at all...

I mean, it looks like something made for fun but wasn't mean to be shared. That's obviously disapointing for those who see a new game, and then try it.

Funny thing is the actual story had nothing to do with 13's wife (though no idea why he didn't speak up and not just let everyone blame her). Long story short someone whined to the feds and since they can't simply arrest him for loli cartoons (it's not illegal in the US) they had customs/border agents harass and bully him after he returned from a cruise instead. More than once with different trips. Basically confiscated his phone and demanded to know where the real C P was (of course there was none). Personally instead of burn my AVNs I would have burned my passport instead and simply never leave the US again like the vast majority never do anyway, better solution imo. Then got a lawyer and sued the gov't for harassment.

As far as only playing completed tags, at that point might as well just quit reading AVNs altogether and find another time killer instead since in total, regardless of genre, that happens maybe once a month on average (and odds are they were short and/or absolutely sucked and meant for a quick cash grab on Steam). Rather for me I just quit giving money to unfinished anything (including early games on Steam). After Ketzal quit ($700 paid for half of a story, yay) I'll still read the loli/incest ones while fully expecting them to never be finished but if they somehow are and it made me nut I'll give them $10-30 or something depending on how many loads I blew to it. Since Sept that has yet to happen and it very well may never happen.

eh 82 clicks. It's free so I'm not complaining. Dev prob has a day job too so we won't even be catching up to where OI was left for a few years to see what new plot gets added.

Getting stranded on a tropical island isn't exactly a new premise, so I don't fault the dev for using it. Go have some sexy fun on that island all you want.
Borrowing the actual names from the other game feels a bit weird to me though.

I took a look at the images folder, and there are only 39 images, no offense, but you should have at least 300-500 images before releasing an update, even for a prologue.

Windows default extractor has a problem with it. Use 7zip. It works fine. Honestly don't bother though. There is no content.

So the original developer abandoned the game. Someone else decided they liked the story and is attempting to finish the story in their own way. That has caused some people who liked the original developer to get upset. Am I missing something here? We choose which games we download and play. If we don't like the story or the way the game plays, we do not have to download it. In this one, the original developer has decided not to take the story any further. Our Island was good. I wish it could have gone further than it did. What is wrong with someone else finishing the game? You people do realize many famous movies were not finished by the original screenplay and or director. I know this is not a movie, yet again, the original developer decided for whatever reason, not to finish. Let the new person have a shot at maybe taking it further before we all start the hating.

I don't know the details but I'm picturing them treating him like ICE sometimes now does with Mexicans that are actually US citizens: handcuff him in a room for a whole day playing good cop/bad cop before finally letting him go since they know they can get away with more shit in that situation than a regular police arrest (ie no warrant needed to search the phone, no lawyer needs to be provided in the short term, no Miranda needed, etc). But yeah 2-3x of that I'd burn my passport and simply never cross the border again while keeping vacations domestic and keep making AVNs as usual. At least he didn't quietly just ghost everyone and kept collecting the free money or make up one excuse after another to string subs along for as long as possible like most, so there's that.
