Desert Stalker is a game which removes / normalizes the incest taboo very well in my opinion.
It's not as extreme as in my example though.

Good game but some individuals in that game still consider incest as taboo

I think that it should be a taboo, just becasue is not normal and is something a lot of people arent okay with, but i dont think it should be illegal.
And as long as they dont procreate, is consensual and both are adults i dont see a problem in it.

- Incest is still taboo
- But you can more or less openly practice it (if you are powerful enough)

The taboo, being the thing that makes it hot, is still there but you can get away with it and even get admired, because you are getting away with it and because others (the Queen) find it hot too.

In my country, incest would not be illegal as long as both parties are mentally capable and over 16 years of age.

Marriage is not possible due to the way the family hierarchy is established, in terms of inheritance and succession rights. Family ties are indissoluble and of a higher legal level; a father will never cease to be the father of his child.

In any human relationship, there will be a power dynamic, to a greater or lesser extent, even among friends and toward a person we might classify as a leader. So the problem is how this power is used.

The myth that incestuous children are always born with genetic problems is extremely exaggerated. I don't know why people think humans are different from any other mammal when it comes to reproduction.

Dogs didn't exist in nature; they are the result of incestuous selection and breeding. Every dog breed was formed this way, and it continues to this day. It's common practice for breeders to crossbreed animals with blood relationships to reinforce a genetic trait.

In Germany, consensual homosexual incest between adults is not criminalized, while heterosexual incest carries a sentence of 3 years in prison. I used Germany as an example because I found it curious at the time. I though. "How is my brother's ass okay, but my sister's in prison?"

Irl incest its kinda out of the question as being wrong but people only really like it because it's wrong or taboo i think games and porn overall like it because it's an easy plot device you know as an author you don't have to write about characters getting to know each other and what not, but for the consumer i think mother-son games and porn are so liked because (people self-insert) the sense of unconditional "love" a mother should shows compared imagining a really hot babe out of the blue liking them is to unrealistic and shatters the self-insert

I don't play incest games because they have incest; I play them despite it.
Fucking the sister feels the same to me as fucking the childhood friend who lives next door. There's a shared history and pre-existing bond, which isn't possible for LIs who are strangers to the MC.
Mothers, aunts, grannies... No thanks. No matter how enjoyable other LIs are, if scenes with them are forced, I close the game.
