The point he's making is that Alorth is doing a lot, if not all, of the render work for this game and has been giving Sir Damned some kicks in the backside if he starts getting behind. Will it keep this game from being abandoned? That's anyone's guess. But it gives it a better shot than when he was working on his own.

After how short the last update was as someone who pays, i have every right to bitch, on me alone, the patereon pulled around 375 bucks between the the last update and the one before it. Now, the bill will be up to another 200 bucks in a couple weeks. Ain't no one gonna pay that type of price for a game on Steam and these dev's that actually make decent content have gotten into a habit of this because greed does what greed does. RK isn't a small cahnnel by any means. The last update was shorter than an amputee midget and took like 15 months. No change of the overall quality of the game, and honestly, the story side in the last update was even half-assed IMO. If you make content like this, you understand that our models are already made in the beginning. Posing, and moving, even animating, takes some work, but the brunt of the work comes from initial design phase. After the design is complete, for the most complicated asset of the game, the characters, it's a matter of manipulation of the already existing asset. No reason that last one should have taken so long and until I see what 8+ has to offer in comaprison to the last update, it will determine whether I contiunue to be a supporter anymore.

Only you at fault, you knew how inconsistent his update schedule became over time yet here you are. Bitching about it here wont achieve you anything, you have a problem with him then go over his Patreon or better even on his toxic ass Discord and complain.

If you know how inconsistent he is with the updates and you still decide to support him that is on you. The only reason why he feels comfortable doing that is because people keep supporting him. It seems like some people are slowly waking up and his earnings on patreon are actually under 4k per month now.
