The translation's pretty good, don't worry.
>dramatic, twisting storylines
Then I'd specifically recommend Now & Then of the ones I posted. It's finished, and has some good drama/light thriller elements to it.
As Leuchtmittel said in his reply to you, Eternum (and the earlier game Once In A Lifetime) by Carybdis are both excellent games (with minor issues, as everything does). They play it very safe (they're very, very vanilla, sex and narrative-wise), but they're still highly recommended. I advise you to start with Once In A Lifetime first, since it's referenced in Eternum and is also finished.
Desert Stalker is a very, very good game. Absurdly polished, it's got some of the sexiest Daz models I've ever seen, a good UI, great animation, great story, the works. I can't wait until it's done.
>Sophie: The Girl from the Zone, Agent17, Eternum
I played a small amount of Agent17 and disliked it, but perhaps they'll think differently. As far as Eternum goes both it and OIAL are so well known that I honestly didn't even consider bringing them up. I guess I should (and did in the reply to him above).
