After reading some of the comments, I’m still not entirely sure what’s happening. I know the game has been abandoned (gasp), but is the developer reworking it to change the characters' appearance, or is he creating a new game?

Yes.

We will have to wait to see what happens, but at first Ketz said he was abandoning all games under this name and creating a new game with a new name on a new platform, something without petite characters or controversy. Then he said since so many people remained subscribed to his Subscribstar that he will try to rework the game to make it something SS will accept, by aging up the characters. We can only wait and see what happens.

if they lock the thread until the dev announces what's going on than 40,000 people don't have to get notified to a bunch of comments every day about debbie downer getting all down cause the same shit happens over & over. this is nothing new, it just hit a more popular dev this time.

game gets an instant "abandoned banner" but wont get locked.

if you wanna stop the popularity of a thread (get it out of the headlines) & keep the white knights from seeing it on the top of the leaderboard 24/7 than temp lock it.

you'll all be notified as soon as its unlocked

I'm not against that, hot take in fact... if you have the characters older it adds more to the story anyways.

No mysteries here. SS still hasn't responded to the 35 emails I sent them, and they're no longer billing for my subs, so... I'm deleting everything and waiting either for SS to respond, which I no longer believe will happen, or for everyone to leave my page to close it.

Work on the game has already begun and will be available elsewhere. If SS remains deaf to my questions, there will be nothing on SS, but the game will exist. It's already quite advanced, by the way.

Well at least you will still work on it. Without the controversial characters it should be easier to have it on other platforms. The only problem might be the incest but there are always solutions for that, you can either make a patch or do it like desert stalker and the player can just define the relationships at the start of the game.

I am pretty sure that, if there will be a patch, it should be made by someone else...
