Goodluck, not played it yet. Also avoided everything about it 'cus I didn't want any spoilers. How is it so far? Any good?

I haven't gotten very far yet, but I can say it's super promising! Classic psychological horrors, metal pipes, and puzzles. The combat feels a lot like the latter silent hills if I were to compare it. I also have a lot of faith in ryukishi07s writing ability, so im very confident in its narrative to be phenomenal!

That's great to hear, Silent Hill (2 specifically) was the first real horror game I got into. As the series went on it just got more and more depressing with how the games got worse. Glad to hear they might have finally got a good SH out (Not including the SH2 Remake). Atmosphere and narrative is what I all i really care about, but if the combats decent too, then really looking forward to picking it up.

If you've played the other SIlent Hills which would you compare it too most so far?

the sun actual makes me feel upset (mostly because the sunlight causes me to have instant migraines) also i keep my home at around 60 F (as the air-conditioner cant go lower) and 63 at the highest

I've played the previous games so long ago, but I feel like its wrong of me to entirely compare F to the previous entries. The game is very much a refreshing start for new silent hill games, all the comparisons dont go very deep outside of the fog, puzzles, atmosphere, and puzzles.

Fair enough, pretty interesting then, you've sold me. Excited to hop in and get a fresh take then. I asked mostly in the hope you would say it wasn't like the later series and more like 1,2,3. But either way you've sold me.

If you're into horror games, did you see the teaser for OD by Kojima? I'm hoping it lasts longer PT this time and we actually get a full game.

That terrible ball of light that torments us all. Something should be done about it.

I get migraines but only of the ocular variety. (pretty lights) No idea what the trigger is.

THe PT vibes is whats selling it to me to be honest. I would imagine that he has a lot of left over ideas that got scrapped with Silent Hills, so iI hope we get to see them in OD.

And damn, I'll leave it for now then and just keep an eye out. 2030 is a long wait man. I do miss me some MGS action though. Reminds me i need to play MGS3 Delta

Same here man, Death Stranding was a bit too much wacky for my liking.

i played all the ones you skipped lol, 4, 5, 6. played a little bit of the re village but didnt finish it.

RE is a great series if you ignore 5/6. Both are bad IMO. I thought RE was dead until 7 came out, loved the new style and more focus on horror. I've played through village like 8 times. I dunno what it is about that game, but i loved it. Was a nice mix of everything RE did good.

The remakes are good too, but I do think RE3 Remake was a bit of a letdown after how good RE2 Remake was. BUt i'm looking forward to RE9, I've not seen much, I try avoid seeing games I'm interested in so i don't spoil myself. But from what i've seen, re9 seems to be going back into the survival horror aspects again, real happy for that.
