[Unreal Engine] VAM Lisland [v0.86S] [SythmanG]

Notice
Updated due to the game being leak elsewhere.
To my knowledge question marks are all girls. But you said
and there should not be 3 more in that cave. Just nearby outside the cave if they are unlocked
You're right of course. I went to the top of the mountain and scanned the whole world, and there are just the two question marks left. It was the ones from the distant island that I kept seeing while disoriented in the lowlands and underground. Also, I kept counting Anna twice in my mind because she wasn't grouped with the others and only showed up at the same time when viewed from certain angles. On the plus side, I've got an anvil now, and an iron hammer (the steel pickax wont be far behind) so quicker mining and breaking down walls and all that good stuff. Also started farming for the first time, AND found my first plastic bags "in the wild" (previously had to buy them from the Shard Store). As with most of the game, it feels like it's going to be difficult until you actually do it, and then it's like "huh, that was easy". Next step: go retrieve that Brewed Coffee recipe! Oh, and the raft. Oh, and livestock. Jeez, I guess there's still a lot to learn. Gotta get off those lolis for a few minutes and get to exploring!:ROFLMAO:

just remember the girl you unlock by making coffee, HATES coffee. Why she showed up at the slightest smell of it only to complain when you give her some i dont know. Damn yanderes

i havent played since the volcano was added but its likely some combination of needing gravity potions and the teleport stick
Thanks for the Tip, i got the Teleport Stick its the best item ever with that i Grab all the Shards the Yellow the Red the Blue and the Green and i put all those on each of his "Pool Colour" but what happens next? idk if i need to w8 to a certain hour or open some cave or portal... also where i can find coffee seeds?

I have no idea if I'm playing this game right. I spent two hours collecting resources just to craft a hammer and a pickaxe.

Collecting resources goes very slowly at first, but it speeds up a lot as time goes on. The girls will gather much of what you need for you, including the food that you have to give them to keep them happy & healthy. It just takes time to ramp up your gathering skills and those of the girls (well, just the one to start with). There's no wrong way to play, but there are definitely things it would help you to know going in that you instead just need to sort of figure out as you go. I'm something like 80 days in, and I'm still just learning about some of the basic stuff like growing crops and navigating caves. Other people have mastered the game in just a very short time. There are a lot of guides available, but they are mostly written from a perspective of somebody that knows the basics and just needs help locating a certain resource or hidden location. Stick with it. You may find it more enjoyable as your stats start to level up.

It's confusing, I visited 5 island already and could not find a single girl, only a green crystal, some purple crystals, notes and a flute

The girls are unlocked by doing stuff, like collecting, crafting etc. Here's a post to a map that can help what conditions must met to get the different dirls.

Did you start with 0.69S? Apparently that one is bugged, judging from the last few pages of activity (which you can go back and read), and doesn't spawn girls like it's supposed to. Supposedly you could download 0.65S (linked somewhere in the last few pages), play that... probably until you run out of content... then patch with 0.69S and continue normally from there with the new content including new girls. :coffee:

Indeed. I spent some 30 days on 0.69S before I realized it was bugged. Made a fresh start on 0.65S and in the same time I have raked up some 10 girls (even though I sent most straight to the cave). Can't cope with more than 4-5 at a time. 😅

Maybe I will wait for it to update

Anyone have a link to 65s? The one I found a few pages back is dead.

I'm completely stymied, and I hope somebody can help me. I'm trying to reach the 3rd Alien Terminal, the one where you have to levitate straight up a narrow vertical shaft. I've tried using the Gravity Potion, but I'm not sure I'm using it right because I'm barely leaving the ground, and the timer runs out so fast that I can't mess around to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there a trick to it? Do you press and/or hold down a certain key? Can you drink more than one potion to extend the effect? It seems like such an important tool to master going forward, the Gravity Potion I mean. The Alien stuff too of course.

I tried bypassing the 3rd Terminal and just moving on to the 4th, 5th, and 6th, but I could only find one of those, and it didn't seem to do anything when I turned it on. Is it possible that the other two terminals are invisible until after you turn on the 3rd one? Of maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Can somebody give me the coordinates for Terminal 6? The guide left those out. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Actually, while I'm at it, there's another spot where I also can't progress, and that is the Heart that is hidden inside the house in the Sunken Village. I can see the Heart through various windows and cracks in the walls, but when I try to swim in through the lower part of the house I get stuck in a room that appears to have no additional exits, just the way I came in. Can the Heart be obtained naturally, or do you need a special tool like the Portal Stick or something? I haven't explored Faraway Island yet, nor the Volcano Island. I wanted to save those until I was all caught up with the early parts of the game first.

I'm really enjoying the game, and I've come a long way in just the last few weeks. My day count was in the 200s, so I had given up hope of ever seeing the UFO event, but one day it just appeared. I didn't grow the Alien girl or anything, and there it was. And man was that creepy! I decided to see if I could just go to the coordinates without getting the girl first, and lo and behold, it worked! I've been avoiding out-and-out cheats, but that definitely felt like one. I went and got the girl right after though, and man was that creepy too. Seriously, the immersiveness of the game tripled as soon as I started dipping my toes in the Alien stuff. I mean, there's only so much fucking and farming you can do before you kinda need something else.

Please Santa bring us an update today.🤞
it would be better to wait a few more months till the job system gets worked on more

i dont mind waiting, its almost 2y since have played this game. does makes me wonder if they fix the save name system in all this time, which got broken when they introduced autosave and havent been fixed for year after.

v0.69S has some issues.

What version are they up to, and what was the last stable S version? Do they still do change logs?

65.1S
and changelogs should be updated up to 69 in ops.
Thanks, but should have mentioned I 'completed'* 62 before spending too many hours playing 69.1S to think about going backwards.

Even if they're not here, I had hoped someone could say what version Sythmang was up to, if he had made a stable S version since. The change log was so I could see detail on developments after 69.1S. Incomplete features worry me less than faulty features.

It's ok, I can wait. Just thought I do a little light research while I did.

* complete meaning, had every girl unlocked and all at levels to do anything, all special events max achievements, all known objectives fulfilled, lovely 8 story 36x36 mansion with a 3x3 tower 50 stories tall (what a view). (tried to make the mansion at (0,0), did the bedroom level (4) before finding the girls couldn't navigate that far from an island, knocked it all down and started again.) Oops, 62 the tower was still a little under 40 tall, rounded it up to 50 during 69.1S.
