No I don't think so.
It seems to be all about that third person action now.
But I mean, maybe someday with a spin off, they'll try and take the chance.

If you're actually looking for that, check out Wasteland 2 or 3. It's the same kind of feel of the old Fallout games with isometric view and it's brutal with it's difficulty.

not sure, there is the Wasteland games series which is very much old school Fallout style (also made by interplay originally same as fallout).

I think someone is modding in the older games into fallout 4 so you can play them in the new game style.

I've heard good things about UnderRail. I think I own it on GOG but haven't gotten around to it yet. From the screenshots it looks very OG Fallout.

with the success of project zomboid we may see some more isometric games in future from indie devs too.

That's why they weren't good. The original Wasteland from 1986 was. Totally different way it worked. Combat was all text based.

I had a trip to Australia tday, such a wonderful place...

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING in Australia wants to kill you........................... Dangerous animals are not limited to spiders, snakes and large animals with teeth. Be on the defense when aggressive birds attack. Jellyfish can deliver a painful sting, and other marine animals can kill. Fish are usually seen as a food source, but the stinging stonefish elicits such pain to a person’s body that you may die from shock.

Brown Snakes, Estuarine Crocodiles and White Sharks are formidable predators and pose dangers to humans. Tiny insects like the mosquito, birds, or even fish can pose a deadly threat to unknowing humans. The Australian paralysis tick can latch on to humans and is virtually undetectable. It secretes proteins from the tick’s saliva that creates a lethal allergic reaction in humans.

But my favorite is the male of Atrax robustus, the Sydney Funnel-web Spider, it has one of the most toxic-to-humans venoms of any spider - and it's cute!

Oh that's a hole 'nother level of terrifying!

with the success of project zomboid we may see some more isometric games in future from indie devs too.

Project Zomboid is so brutal on the default settings. Even with the settings tweaked like not dying from scratches (or was it bites), increasing the reading speed, it's still brutal. I didn't have much fun playing it and I tried for 60 hours.

I just found out you could emote...that would have made it at least 5% better...

EDIT: Missed opportunity fixed, changed whole to hole
