That's COMPLETELY different. I forget the name, but there is a game where they literally make you choose between two LIs because your bitch ass is too weak or too dumb to figure out how to pull both out of a burning house. So yeah.. killed an LI players were invested in AND did it in a way which was stupid since realistically your chacter could have saved both. Brain dead writing at that point. Hell thinking about it for 10 seconds and I'd break his arm a day or two before the fire so he can't use it, but that'd require too much work I guess?.

As for your case, I killed someone who people THOUGHT should be an LI, but was never intended to be one. So either we're in the same boat or mine is just a little bit worse than yours.

yea the thing that someone did is just full on braindead. It isnt even good from a story standpoint and especially not from the gameplay perspective.

I love games like that. Not only does it show the love the devs put into their game, but it keeps you on your toes, wondering, "Are they an option I missed, or will they be an option later? Do they play a big role later?" etc.

not really a big fan. I mean, I can understand not having a full on route, but any woman with a decent model and personality should at least have repeatable simple sex events, even if that does just amount to work bathroom quickies. otherwise, why bother on the model, or why bother making them a woman at all (aside from circumstances where making them male would make things not make sense at all)? I've seen plenty of games where characters not important enough to be bangable are literal silhouettes, and I can see how that would equally be irritating, but if you arent planning on having a character have sex scenes, they really don't require so much writing/designing effort. thats my two cents anyway, and its perfectly fine for people to believe differently.

I think devs... can be great.

As per the OP, some devs make attractive, well rounded, interesting characters non romanceable for plot reasons.

In reverse, some devs make annoying, hostile, ugly, unpleasant characters unavoidable love interests for plot reasons.

That is a good question -- I would much prefer an AVN with an unobtainable beautiful character than one with a beautiful character where they keep promising that you will get her -- but so far nothing..... (I am looking at you A Wife and Mother)

It's frustrating. I don't remember the game, but I've encountered this before. On the other hand, Dev's has right to do this; they make the game.

Kassie in Endowed is the only one who is wife material, but she is a lesbian. Makes sense the MC is a man he can't romance her. But she acts like a wingman. She is the most attractive character too.

On one hand I appreciate devs/artists not simply phoning it in for side and minor characters.
On the other hand, I'm still upset there's no Miki route so I completely understand the frustration.

As for the OP's question. I Love a beautiful character with a deep rich personality, if they weren't romanceable I would hate that so much, I'd probably stop playing the game.

It depends on whether it's clear from the start that it's not a lie. I don't see a problem. It's part of the worldbuilding process. It's like having a friend who's in a steady relationship with a cool character is better than a horny one. He should have a nice, hot girlfriend, and he has no interest in my girls.

But the baits are annoying as hell. She teases and flirts with the MC all the time, and it's as annoying as WVM, and then comes back to say she did it just to make fun of the incest audience.

I still haven't forgotten acting lessons, nice reminder. It did not help for all your main character suffering and pain proverbial in a fictional universe, the ending sucked. You were hoping for a threesome romance or a harem. lol, I subverted your expectations. F that noise.

Dunno, sounds like every non-adult game out there and the ones that allow have filtered character / content through so many times it is not of interest.

Can't say I recall it happening in adult game, usually if there is effort done to a character, it will have something.

Depends as quite a few games introduce to many NPCs and don't have the time to use everyone as LI.

It's better to plan your game in advance and keep adding more then you can create.
