Only because right now they don't care about much else. You don't give them much credit that they also mod and build things in Roblox which does require a solid amount of technical savvy even if they've pretty user friendly, and they're way better at it than when I was their age

I know someone that makes dresses in Blender and sells them to people to use them in the game. It's basically their job and normally sells like 3 or 2 a week. Fucking bonkers and makes me feel old af for not getting it lol

I'm all for protecting minors from porn but using that as an excuse to implement internet censorship is horrible.

The best protection from porn is education. Blocking it does not solve the issues it brings and if you don't educate your kid on what porn is, they will most likely have issues if they interact with it when they are an adult. Same with the internet in general really.

Either way, kids will always find a way and by restricting their access will only force them to try other ways that can actually harm them like using the dark web.
I remember being a teen getting blocked by my home's internet providers from accessing porn sites and I went around that shit in less than 30m and I didn't even know what a VPN was (this was around the late 2000s, early 2010s)

It is very funny to see people try to take the moral high ground when talking about porn, when most of them are consuming porn themselves. Then there are the "porn is misogyny" puritans who clearly didn't get the memo about gay porn. One tried to argue to me that gay porn.
