Considering the story, there are going to be way more chapters. Very likely each taking 1 week of ingame time. Like... in the end, he is going to find a way to keep his sister around. Which means Sherry stays around, which means her training continues.
Only real issue is the whole "im leaving for therapy now, you do some fucked shit". There seem to be lot of levels of training but not lot of ways to gain trust with Sherry.
Pretty much what happens at the end of the game....you can choose what you do, to keep the mother of sherry/your sister, to stay.
I tried the "ultimate evil" route, and didnt see any difference besides maybe some dialog changes. Typical for BHG tho.
IF any choices actually do make a difference, is BHG to decide....they said there will be no "gameovers" and i decided to test that to the limit in this game!!

I actually feel bad for some decisions .....
But iam pretty sure
that the MC of this game gets shot anyway. If you consider the crossover events that has been happening in the BH Universe in the past, and you NEVER heard of him in the past.....and it seems like marshal, ( MC from PA ) doesnt even mention him, even tho he seems to be the brother, kinda shows what "might" happen.
Also, i hear people talking about sherry when she is an adult.....and broken? At least she seems to be a char in TLG. Stopped playing that minigame BS.
Kinda expect that the MC in Dire Desires actually does get killed....no matter what route you choose. The darkest path is most likely canon in BHG anyway :S

Chris actually appears in the latest update of Revelations of the Whisparing Pines as a killer. And TLG takes place many years later than the other games and all the other MCs are not mentioned there so far AFAIR.

Not for a while. Whispering Pines is next, The Lost Guardian will be another few weeks after that. Seath posed this about this game:
DD and PA:
Both in the starts of their updates. PA will be massive as well. DD will be dark AF. lol.

had a few worry that their fav game is being delayed or not being worked on. Well stop it. Don't think that. PA is still being worked on, and this last update is HUGE because I plan on it being the final in it's current state.

But PA Part 2 will be worked on directly after with some changes to the game play to make it more SIM style to make the corruption more embedded thru out, and making it a more controlling of the narrative. I think with PA I started with something, and it kinda got weird. I plan on fixing this with the new part, but I need to finish what I start before I get to that. But good things are coming for PA cuz I love that fucking series. So please, people... Stop worrying that PA is dead. Nonsense. I love me some PA.

I know I'm been gone and busy lately, but with the credit card bullshit, and the other crap going on, it's been weird. Just wanted people to know that we're still hard at work on the games. TLG Chapter 4 is almost done now, as it's been what I've been working on lately.
RWP is done as well, but the coding on it is still on its way. It's really big, and Janus has asked me to get some things done, and I've just simply not been home to get them to him. But I'm home for the next 2 weeks and I'll be back in the chats and open voice a lot this week.
I just don't want you guys to think I'm not here. I've been here. I love you guys, and much more games are coming. I swear to you!

simply create an empty file unlock.rpy in the game folder ('unlock all scenes' appears in the top right corner)
I tried to create an empty file and change its name and extension as you suggested, but it didn't work
 
Still think this game is their best work.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the rest but this one just has the cohesion that the others lack, or perhaps it's just this one doesn't have filler (In the sense of characters or backstory who really have no added value or meaning).


For part 2... He's probably already doing it but I think the way to easily simplify the corruption would just instead of trying to combine the entire story as an aggregate (which does in fact get 'weird' as he described) is just to have isolated states for each recent scene/dialogue, and just have the counter for X number of previous choices, only taking into account the last handful and flipping after two or three consecutive. That allows the player to freely swap and also makes it so you aren't feeling obligated to write excess scripts/scenes that cater to XYZ levels of corruption.

Main thing is just avoiding "gating" content behind a specific level, especially when it's an amazing scene that someone might miss even if they happen to replay.
