Hell, even a simple rain can knock the internet out or even medium wind can knock power out for a couple seconds/minutes. In this case it was a tree on the lines - and lots of other places in the area had the same.

Yeah i know, but we usually have multiple lines here so even when 2 falls, we still have the electricity... and internet is always carried in the groud, so there is no way for it to crash... maybe if something falls down some control box, but there is slim chance...

yeah since Ohio is in the middle of north America (it borders Canada by lake) I've never actually seen the ocean. but since the Apalachin mountain are close/in Ohio it causes tornados to become stronger that's why that part of the US is called tornado alley

I guess government will be watching...untless you have a VPN that does not bow to EU demands for user data.

Note to self -- move world domination plans to air gapped computer , on my last job before retirement about half of our computers were air gapped and then they also removed all access for flash drives because it's easier to corrupt people than computers. .
