Well for non adult, baldurs gate and the Divinity original sin games, the sea dog games are great if you into pirates. Mods always are great.

For adult I'd say Vai Victus Kahn or Heros Harem Guild.

games that i have played that have the rpg tag on steam that i would recommend are (note that you didnt specify what type of rpg so there are few different types here): bastion, batman arkham series games, the darksiders games, divinity original sin 1 and 2, baulders gate 3, witcher games, bioshock games, okami, ni no kuni games, pillers of eternity, south park stick of truth, super dayrl deluxe, steam world dig 1 and 2, titan quest, vaporium, vaporium lockdown, legend of grimrock games, prodigal, oceans heart, middle-earth shadow of mordor, borderlands 1 and 2, Guacamelee 1 and 2, deus ex mankind divided, deus ex human revolution , dishonored

I could recommend two games that I'm currently playing. Goblin Conqueror and Dragon Conquista. Both are NSFW games and made by the same creator. Goblin Conqueror could get boring sometimes because the enemy is, well, goblins. They might have different looks, sure, but goblins are goblins. Dragon Conquista is the same, but has more enemies. I prefer the latter over the former.

There are no good adult RPG games. Mixing RPG elements into an adult game is a terrible, terrible thing. And the RPGM engine is absolute shit.
