discussion Ever heard of RPG Paper Maker, an RPG Maker like engine?

They've released a major update for this game engine over a week ago. I've been working on a project for it too. Instead of one supporting Kadokawa's RPG Maker you can grab this free alternative and start making your games too. This is mostly worked on by a female dev who goes by Wano.

They support Linux too

Have not heard of it myself but it certainly looks a bit better than RPGM, which really ought to be consigned to the dustbin of history.

The one developer behind this game engine has been on a roll since the 3.00 release. It's been getting updated like every 2-3 days. I've seen some good progress and features being added to it. It's also free, you only need to pay for the commercial version if you make commercial games to sell. Other than that you don't need to buy or pay for it. It does need support financially as it's the work of one young mom.
