The tagging system needs to have primary and secondary tags. Primary tags are which the game is mostly about. Secondary tags are if there are only a few scenes with it in. So 1 femdom scene in the whole game it is a secondary tag if the whole game is a about femdom it is a primary tag.

I'd go so far as to say we need 3 layers, not 2. Because there's people that will be like "I know the primary focus of the game is futa bestiality porn, but there is a significant incest arc so I can't put it in secondary" if there are only 2 layers. With 3 layers you get your "the game is this" "there's a good amount of this" and there's a tiny bit of this". Instead of just "the game is about this" and "there's less of this".

I kept it to 2 layers to keep it simple but 3 would still work or each tag has a power associated with it from 1-100 and that show how frequent it appears, But any change to the tag system will take a lot of work to get the values right and what tier they should appear in especially with in progress games.

I prefer games with fewer tags in this genre simple ones with a story that doesn’t progress too slowly. I don’t want everything to happen too quickly, but I also don’t enjoy extremely slow burn. I like natural characters, and I’m more into incest, pregnancy themed games.

Well, it is good when you are warned about something that you do not want to see, so more the better. But it would be good if in description they would mention which are main, which secondary and which skippable.

Personally, I lean more toward games with a focused theme and just a few tags. When there's too much going on — like a laundry list of every kink under the sun — it can feel more like quantity over quality. I’d rather play something with a tight, well-written story and consistent tone, even if it only covers a couple of specific interests. That said, I know some people enjoy the variety and unpredictability, so it really depends on what you’re in the mood for. Do you feel like too many tags tend to water down the content?

i gravitate towards more tags. in my mind less tags=less content.

not always the case but if a story goes on long enough its going to pick up more tags

I kinda prefer more tags i feel when there is more tags the game sometimes have more content but it's also a double edged sword sometimes people like to tag anything and everything even when there is borderline no content for that tag

There are some tags that are absolute no go for me - 2d, kinetic novel, futa, ntr (either kind), milf combined with incest... 99% of the time sandbox (when it's not real open world and rather "guess the one place that's the right one to go to to move on" or if it has any grinding whatsoever. Some lesser used, too - trap, scat, furry, etc...

it can be helpful but too many makes them seem almost pointless especially if some of the tags don't have much content for them
