What are you talking about? He'll probably leave this game unfinished, just like he did with "The Guardian".
Seath is quite literally one of few devs who actually finishes his games. He has 5 games that he currently rotates in between. Won't be unfinished. Just will update in very, very long time. He'll probably leave this game unfinished, just like he did with "The Guardian".
Also an ongoing sequel. What are you talking about?
The Guardian did get finished and does have an ending.
I can show you a save from "The Guardian" which literally ends the game in the middle of nowhere regarding game progress and there's no more content after that.Seath is quite literally one of few devs who actually finishes his games. I just went back to my last save and it definitely has an ending. There's a whole section where you select different characters to see their "endings" (more like previews for them in The Lost Guardian) followed by a musical number that closes out the game. Not sure what's up on your end.I can show you a save from "The Guardian" which literally ends the game in the middle of nowhere regarding game progress and there's no more content after that.
Maybe you could just restart the game and see if it was just issue from your side? For good measure download the latest file.I can show you a save from "The Guardian" which literally ends the game in the middle of nowhere regarding game progress and there's no more content after that.
Ah, yes. Everyone else doesnt have problems, only you. But its the devs fault for doing an " unfinished job " . Ever tried to delete the whole game and unpack in a NEW folder, not overwriting old files? that fixes alot of problems actually with Renpy games.IDK how many more times downloading the supposedly latest file (from this forum and from other places) or starting from the beginning would change anything. No matter which route I take (love or fear), the game always ends at this scene. And yet, when I unpack the rpa files, there are many more rendered scenes after this one. IDK about you, but that's what I call "unfinished job". That's why I've put this game in category "abandoned" and keep it around only because of a few cool animations with Jane.

Hmmmm, that's really strange. Because I can assure you, the game IS in fact finished. You could go to your /appData files, find the rempy folder and purge it.IDK how many more times downloading the supposedly latest file (from this forum and from other places) or starting from the beginning would change anything. Then CTRL through the entire game, see if you get an actual ending? Because.. yknow... it's actuall finished and most people didn't have problem with it.
As I said, it's from your side really.
Also yes, Jane scenes are top tier. One of the best parts was having Sierra join them too.
That was one of the first of many other things I tried when I saw the game ended always at the same scene. I even started it over with a clean save - just to be sure it's not save file incompatibility with the latest version. Then I rebuilt the game with RenpySDK with forced recompiling and errors fixing (the SDK tool can do that), but even rebuilding the game didn't fix it. So I finally accepted the game was unfinished/abandoned and moved on.Hmmmm, that's really strange. Because I can assure you, the game IS in fact finished. I was never unable to see the story unfold to the end but fortunately I was able to get what I wanted in another way - thanks to the linux rpatool. An unfinished game - big deal. It just leaves a... "bad taste in the mouth", so to speak.
5 games, counting the DD. We're going to have to wait for very long time until DD is updated because it's likely last on the list. Now, about Dire Desires itself. I'm not much of a fan of the too dark stuff but on the other hand it's a nice change from all the lovey-dovey out there. Besides, when there are 10 games simultaneously you wait for new versions to be released, it gets boring quickly (bc many of the non-porn games since 2015 simply suck) and a game like DD can be a nice change of mood to fight the boredom.
