I agree, SSP is more "believable" and has a "less twisted and dark" plot than DD.
DD is recommended for quiet people who go to mass every Sunday and say grace with their teenage daughters before eating; in addition to having a hidden basement with a soundproof, armored double door.

Also everyone is related to each other lmao. Then again, so are people in blackheart universe so there's that.

This one (DD) is really dark, even on the "non-abuse" path. It's too abusive for my taste really. I would have liked an even less abusive path, but it's not that kind of game.
But if you think actual IRL loli sex can be light and positive (for the loli), then the police and any psychologist will tell you that you are wrong.
So I guess that DD is the more realistic and believable of the two.... (let that sink in for a while).

SSP is a kind of power fantasy which can be nice as an escape from reality but I wouldn't call it believable, unless your last name is Epstein and/or if you happen to own a Pizzeria with a basement.

When the update came to the game, I honestly didn't think we were going to become psychiatrists. It seemed more fun to be a selfish asshole and bully the little girl. Maybe I didn't like the complete change of some things. Again, adding a lot of new characters is what this producer always does. Too many characters breaks the connection with the main character. This is the only mistake. It makes slower and more consistent corruption faster and with a loss of feeling. The multiplicity of characters prevents you from getting attached to some characters.

I don't think you're going to like the game going forward because whatever is happening here now is going to get much, much, much darker. Considering we know how Sherry ends up being.

The whole psychiatrist part is honestly very surprising. Doesn't feel like it fits entirely in my honest opinion. Dude goes from a soldier to a psychiatrist. I guess it's never too late to pursue dreams but... yeah. Kind of weird considering he wants to help people but at the same time he's a complete psycho. Worse yet, psycho with emotions as reflected in the last scene.

I do hope that Seath scales down the project to as few unimportant girls as possible. Have the game focus around Sherry, his sister and Kayla. With Anya content sprinkled in there as accomplice.
Plus patient content as separate treat but not go too overboard with them. Max 3 patients and call it a day.

It's just speculation on my part but I guess that the dev does need to choose one canon path, especially with different intertwined games like Blackheart does,

And given that Blackheart more or less specializes in dark content, it makes sense that they do choose the dark path as the canon one.

Dire Desires is intended to be a very dark game. The "corruption" and "healing path" are there to appease people who wouldn't want completely fucked up scenario. Otherwise those same people end up with absolutely nothing for next few months.

2. Vaginal insertion with lolis is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than anal.
3. It's miracle there is some sex at all considering its 0.1 version. If this was 0.1 of any other usual dev out there, max you'd get would be a tease of a naked ass in a shower or something and the game would abruptly end for next 3 months until 2 more scenes would be added that barely progress anything.

The guy dies regardless of what you do so there's that. More so when his death seems to be another plotpoint for future game. His son is actually present in Blackheart: Aftermath. Which will likely get a possible continuation once Blackheart Hotel is remade.
Although hopefully not. Never liked Paige and her murderhobo tendencies.

This might be the best game BHG releases.....or not. its just chapter one...
