Notice
Updated due to the game being leak elsewhere.
Kinda sucks this was abandoned even though their Fansly still works, with 131 subs even though the dev ghosted everyone over a year ago.

It's not surprising, there are a few exceptions but this type of games is becoming almost impossible to monetize.
Really wish there were more devs that basicaly told the platforms, payment processors, the gov't and whoever else is responsible for that "Well, fuck you then, I'll make and release it for free out of my own pocket just to spite you!".

That would be cool, but with how time consuming this games are, it's really hard to do that while also having a full-time job and/or a family. And even releasing stuff for free, depending on where you live it can still get you in trouble with the law.

Most definitely in the Commonwealth, but imagine even if real C P was released for free behind no-log VPNs on websites with distributed hosting. LE wouldn't be able to do much of shit about it due to it being VERY difficult just to trace one dev/producer down with no money to follow and no single company or individual could be held responsible for hosting unintelligible gibberish by themselves (it's why Westy was an easy target, he had tax/payment records, with enough money ($30k/mo) to make them question where it was coming from since he didn't even launder it). Doing it the hard way would take years, possibly decades, and if the dev is old to begin with he will prob die of natural causes before getting arrested anyway. And even if not maybe someone like Trump will give them a presidential pardon like my hero Ross Ulbricht (of Silk Road fame). Now imagine there's 100k Ross Ulbricts on the internet vs maybe 200k FBI agents and their foreign counterparts (MI5, etc) = good luck. Really if even just 1% of the the world's 5B internet users (50M) would quit giving a fuck about the law global LE online would be 100% overwhelmed. It pretty much already is when it comes to copyright enforcement (only the big fish like Youtube and Google held responsible so actually give a shit about it) and quickly getting that way with photorealistic AI and deepfake videos (both porn and SFW).

If you want to play any VNs that are still continue and never abandoned, I highly recommend playing Insexual Awakening (which was finished) and Insexual Awakening 2 (which is still continue as for this writing).
I have actually tried the first one when it was still relatively new, and i remember it being not too bad. I totally forgot about that one so thanks for the reminder 👌 I also didn't know there was a part 2, so I'll definitely check it out 🤘

Too bad it's the usual hand-drawn crap with puzzles and shit rather than a regular AVN in Daz. Makes me wonder why that carries on while actual good AVNs die off.

What do you mean "hand-drawn crap"? The creators (Hydro and Dr.X) try their best to commission that artist (Soapmonster, later renamed as DigitalKaiju) to drew these beautiful artworks. Although said artist is not really a shotacon nor a lolicon. The reason why the production for IA1 ended early was Soapmonster decided to leave the project.
Because of that, the creators decided to try it again, this time as a follow-up called Insexual Awakening 2 where, unlike the first one where it was hand-drawn, they decided to try Koikatsu because it's easier than waiting for any artists to release their artworks.
For me, I believe both IA1 and IA2 are really good AVNs where it's still continue making it to this day (unlike Apocalypse where it's later abandoned).

I prefer photorealistic AI or Daz. Rarely if it's a really good story or is a decent loli/incest AVN I can tolerate Honey Select (even though the MC looks pretty much the same in every AVN they are in). I haven't watched cartoons since I was a kid in the 1990's (last one was Beavis and Butthead), and that was only because 3D renders weren't invented yet (at least not in Daz or Blender). In a perfect world I'd be able to make like the Matrix and hook my PC directly to my brain to where an AVN was indistinguishable from reality (aside from some minor intentional safety mechanism), but sadly that's still a ways off.

It really doesn't cost that much, maybe a few thousand in assets for high end Daz (ie Such a Sharp Pain) + $100/mo electric bill to render it. The main issue is knowledge and free time to do it (roughly 500-1000:1 for time spent making it vs read time for everyone else). If your day job is persistently your life then yeah, tends to never happen.

I do think the biggest thing for a situation like this would be that it would really end up being like a second job you don't get paid for, in terms of time investment, if you wanted to get a reasonably sized game done in any reasonable amount of time, based on what we've seen from (actually active) devs, assuming you didn't have an absolute monster of a creative workstation PC (not just a top-end gaming PC, but like specifically geared towards 3D rendering workloads). I'm sure there are people who are at the time in their life where they don't necessarily have families or social lives or other hobbies outside of their full-time jobs, and could spend all their free time working on a game (and maybe try to get as much rendering done while they are working/sleeping to make use of that "downtime", but it's certainly not a huge number, and then among that number to find any that specifically would want to make loli games would probably be like finding the actual (Un)Holy Grail, honestly. I'm sure that person is out there, but I wouldn't exactly be just sitting around and waiting for them.

I do think that finding ways to "trick" (or outright circumvent) the payment processors may be the best option for the time being, whether that's using crypto, or setting up "shell"/"front" accounts for Patreon/SubscribeStar that offer something innocuous, that people can be pointed to via sites like this, and then contact the dev here to get early access to the game here or whatever if they want to do that - while still providing whatever innocuous thing they promise on that support site. Even if these things wouldn't be foolproof, they would at least be options to try and keep monetizing these games so creators can keep trying to make them.

The tools evolve, but the chains evolve faster...

Hey now, I like my hand-drawn crap with puzzles and shit! AVNs are a fucking slog, I'm glad games like TLG have gameplay elements. I seriously do not have the stamina to read through shit that might not be worth it in the end.

I like VAM the most, I've seen a few tutorials and it seems easy enough to do a couple of poses... The few VAM games I've seen have all been bangers too.

It really sucks that there's so much content for these things scattered all over the place at least with AI and VAM IMO, makes it really hard to get into them.

Yeah Vam is my 2nd choice behind Daz. Not as realistic stills but far more realistic animation physics since Daz was never meant for animations and has been kinda hacked to make it work.

Anyone have the complete mac version of this? Not against unsing wine, but it's not my preference. Also, do the active links have all DLC? The "All DLC" links on the 1st page are all down.

I dont understand why they dont do crypto.
You and me both. Only thing I can think of is crypto transactions can sometimes take a week or more, not seconds. If impatience was the reason could have simply set up a bank account just for the game and have people send e-checks after posting the account/routing number to send it to in the OP here, though that generally mostly just works in the US and is less reliable internationally (only a few countries do direct bank transactions with each other).

Crazy a simple search and i didnt even know who Ross Ulbrichts was till you mentioned him or that he was even pardoned this year. Hes enacted so many changes in his 4 months its hard to keep up with all the sht that he is doing. From the article that ive seen, they make this Ross Ulbricht seem like a master facilitator, whether he was that in reality idk, but if he was that skilled in privacy and computer literacy, wouldnt someone that gifted not be nearly as common as 100k? Just asking

Out of 5B internet users 100k is prob lowball. Most just choose not to make a public spectacle of themselves and get the attention of the gov't by basically setting up an eBay for hitmen, drugs, weapons, prostitution, etc. and make $5B in Bitcoin from it. Fun fact: the trick they used to catch him (basically physically stole his laptop CIA-style he used to run the site) would not work again, since like-minded coders made a fail safe that will destroy the laptop if someone even takes it outside designated GPS locations or tries to hack the login pw or similar. Not sure how it works but one rumor I've heard is aside from zeroing the drive it simply disengages the BMS fail-safes and overloads the internal battery on purpose until it bursts into flames or explodes.
