That would be a bummer, I was just going to download the latest version and give it a go. Tired of so many abandoned games though and don't want to waste my time if that is the case.

Started out as sort of a rewrite of another game "Our Fate" which unfortunately got abandoned. The dev was just never able to lift LaB to same heights. Now this one is also abandoned but that's not really a loss.

Fair play But I have to admit I kinda lost interest anyway. Started out pretty well but I think the MC has turned in to a pretty one dimensional character.

On Mac (or PC or Linux) you can use the Ren'py developer app .. from

The game data is the same regardless of platform.

Features: gallery unlocker, add. settings (textbox opacity, textbox offset, textsize, text outlines, quick menu options), MC rename, named saves

Info: the game has an issue with loading some saves, especially with new made ones. I tried to fix that in my port.
Also: old saves maybe are not compatible because of game changes – therefore probably the added save check which has the issues

Usage additional swipe commandos:

– Swipe right: skip
– Swipe up: main menu
– Swipe down: hide

The game saves are stored now in a persistent folder and should be available even when the game is deinstalled
Location: “(your device)\Documents\RenPy_Saves\com.koga3.lostatbirth”
Info:
– You have to grant the permission for the external/second save storage use when starting the game for the first time.
– On some devices the game seems to stuck on the very first start after you granted the permission.
Please close the game completely and restart it, it should work after that without that issue again.
