Update made me start a new game. That's fine but my new save is greyed out and says it's not compatible? wth

loading saves is broken in this version. It cant load manual saves, auto saves or quick saves.
be prepared to start from the beginning AND do the entire playthrough in one sitting since you wont be able to continue

Here is a replacement screens.rpy file that will fix the save file loading bug. The dev messed up trying to treat the string version numbers as though they could be compared like integers when they cant.

I just downloaded chapter 9b last night. Is it worth me getting the extra half chapter?

just download lost at birth chapter 10 ep1 and play from the start the game is the same as chapter 9 the new update is added onto the previous version

you need to extract the archive and replace the faulty file of the exact name i gave with the one i supplied. rpy is just short for renpy script. its a plain text source code file. other file extensions are not the same thing so dont touch them.

alternately you could ask whoever supplied this release of the game to get a new one. i just checked the comments on the steam page and it seems v19 posted their own fix. but that would be a 4gb download instead of 69kb

actually if you dont know how to extract rpa zips then just place the file directly inside the /game directory right next to the rpa file. it will PROBABLY override the copy inside the rpa automatically

The artwork is solid—about an 8—but the scene choices are more basic, maybe about 5 or 6. Writing is also about the same score for me. I feel more development of the daughter corruption would benefit it, especially if there was more direction to an engaging and explicit forefront. It seems the developer made the daughter look like an adult to avoid censorship, but writes her with the mindset and behavior of a teen, which creates a sense of mild confusion at times.

Right now, it feels like polished VN-style porn. I often skip dialogue unrelated to the daughter character, as the other characters aren’t compelling (though I did read their intros). Most female characters lack flaws or distinct traits, making them feel generic. If the writing ever matches the quality of the visuals, this could be top-tier. I hope the creator takes more creative risks and gambles more going forward.

I tried this one a while back, but it moved a little to slowly for me. I will get the latest update and see how it has progressed over the past year. I like the renders and the script was okay. I'll give my thoughts on it after I go through it again.

Spoiler: Known Mac Problem

For the benefit of other Mac users here, these are the steps that need to be taken so that the market build app can run on MacOS.

Download the market build and unzip (duh)
Locate the Lost_at_Birth app and crack it open (right click, show package contents)
Create a new folder inside /Contents/Resources and name this folder autorun
Now locate in the market build download the following folders and files: game, renpy, Lost_at_Birth.py and Lost_at_Birth.sh
Move those folders and files from the step above to the autorun folder created in step 3. The end result should look like this

That's it. The Lost_at_Birth app is now complete. You can safely discard the left over files from the market build now.

Beats me why but maybe it's because they don't get paid as volunteers, and it takes time to port every update.

Personally I have never played an android port of any adult game in my life.
