ya, you gotta be into the campy scifi to really enjoy it. IT's got some really great stories if you do but i don't blame people who say they can't get into it.

I can do some campy, like Farscape. Who is a different breed of camp though.

DS9 is really good, didn't watch it when it first came out cause it seemed too much like a Babalon 5 rip off (need to sit down and watch the entire series I missed a lot of episodes), but I rewatched it a while back and enjoyed it

Amusingly, the first time I tried to watch Babylon 5 I thought "this is like Deep Space Nine but it looks way worse" and gave up.

I'm very very glad I gave it another shot later on, absolutely one of the best TV shows of all time.

You know you can like both, right? I love Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, etc.

I am with you -- kinda love them all -- except I diodraw the line at Buck Rogers and Space 1999 I do think Farscape is under appreciated

I do like them both even Battlestar but haven't seen Firefly

There is NOTHING better than Firefly

Also not bad were “Andromeda” and “Babylon 5”, from more recent “Killjoys”.
For years there has been no newo good SF series with action in space.
If anything it's some remakes, prequels and other blights.
