"Burned" is a work of art, but in a different erotic genre, really. Absurdist, comic, gender-spoofing wildness -- and I LOVE it. Malignant, to me, is even more erotic, but also quite a lot deeper, both emotionally and plotwise. It's just on another plane; not better or worse, but dimensionally different -- and that's why I feel Deaufosse is in another league IMHO.

Before a couple nights ago, I had never played this game. I played the whole thing for the first time over the last two nights and it made me laugh harder than I had in weeks. This game makes me feel like a worse person for playing it, but I can't wait for the next update. Whatever the opposite of "Thanks, I hate it" is (fuck you, I love it?), I want the dev to see this and know he has made art that I cannot share with anyone I know but will always wish I could.

Well, I was trying to say "before a couple nights ago" meaning "all of the time in the universe leading up to a couple nights ago" not specifically "the other night, and just the other night".
And I guess I missed that the game is dead because I checked for an abandoned tag and didn't see one. If @Deaufosse ever sees my post, I hope it makes him smile.

It's not officially abandoned but sadly that's just a matter of time. Deaufosse and some mods got into an argument over tags (gay related, futa/trans or something, I forget) awhile back and afaik he hasn't been back here since, he's gone back to A T F to work on loli/hebe animations there so isn't even working on AVNs anymore that I know of. A shame, I really wanted to see that 12yo Korean loli to end up pregnant after the birth control failed along with his daughter knocked up too but sadly I guess he's not even gonna get to fuck her, at least not on the light/non-rape path.

The dev had some retarded woke thing going back and forth about the tags, but the crazy turn in the writing in both games at the same time tells me that he had the worlds most awkward reaction to burnout the genre's ever seen. That's why he is where he is, doing what he's doing.

Yeah definitely one of my favourites. For sure top three if not for chapter 3 though even it had some nice moments. Especially with Eden. Guess i'll just add this one to the endless list of abondoned vns. Shame really

With Apocalypse you could tell that guy was totally biting off way more then he could chew as far as complexity. Saw that one coming from like the second update on.

Apocalypse due to no money (SS never approved him, and like other loli devs even if they did no one could sub without the cc transaction getting declined) and after a year he got tired of doing it for free. OI because the dev's wife was pissed at him (last believable rumor I heard), TSL because the dev lives in a 3rd world shit hole where electricity is unreliable (kinda need that for rendering). A bunch simply tucked tail and ran just because Westy was arrested (which had less to do with the AVN and more his other real life hobbies like peeping/recording his neighbors). I hope future loli quitters will at least give equally entertaining excuses as their AVNs for retiring.

Pretty sure i didnt even knew about the game before....update 0.30 or something. But i do agree with you. All those different paths, including the side storys, would pretty much have blown Apocalypse out of proportion for a single dev. Iam happy tho that i was able to play his latest beta, had some nice new scenes.....for a "side/optional" path!
LegacyUser really just overdid it with his vision of a complex AVN. Pretty much, in reality, half a year waiting for an update, to get 5-10 mins of content in EVERY possible path....

Whats TSL?
Many tucked tail after westygate, i only know about one dev that actually, at least, finished his game and then disappeared. ( the family in trouble )
All those accusions that westy had actual real stuff on his computer and was even stalking his neighbor daughter..... pretty sure it had ALOT to do with his AVN, wasnt that the only reason why they investigated him? Making a shitload of money ( around 30k/month ) might make the goverment suspicous....is there actual any proof that the rest of the accusions were true ?

Being ONTOPIC now.....

Burned was kinda good. A , kinda realistic, slice of life. But IMHO kinda went overboard with update 0.3. Timetravel, dinosaurs, and all the wierd stuff.....i DID get a few laughs outta it, i'll admit, but....the beginning was a whole lotta different from what i expected the direction the game would go.
And since deaufosse isnt active here anymore, i guess both of his games can be marked as abandoned.
Too bad actually....i still liked Burned.....and LOVED Malignant....that was a fucked experience that i wanted to continue.... :/
