Starting with the 1.8 update, all previous saves can be loaded properly, and there are no more stats pages at the end of each day.

Any idea on the release schedule for paid updates to go free? some games wait a week, some a month, and some wait for the next update?

Old saves borked and it ended, for girl only, at the same point when reloading from an earlier autosave.

Game is good, but I think it would be better if the photographer was female. Maybe give players the option of choosing the gender like in Bad Memories. Works really well in that game.

The thing about that is that the dev keeps improving and changing the earlier chapters.
This is less of a "The dev completes one section of the game and then moves on forever" like how a lot of games here are developed,
and more of a "The dev is reshaping everything to fit together well and maintain pacing throughout."
What that means is that the part of the game that your saves covered, is different than what is in your save.
As you said, it isn't like this is a super long project like Labrats2 (A game I am still forced to restart every major update, but the changes are usually worth)
so it's not that big a deal.

He also has an end in sight, so he can do other projects. The MC’s time with the sibling will be about two weeks total, v2 will likely be the final version. I don’t mind the adjustments either. It’s always fun to play it from the beginning.
