In my opinion, it's something out of the “cherry pie flavored with mustard” series.

Chicken is dry by itself, so pineapple give enough juice to it. Also it is sour and sweet, so is also good combination with chicken.
As whole, pineapple pizza is decent.

Really trashy are ones with seafood. With shrimps, or especially with anchovies.

I like pineapple on pizza. the sweet and savory combo just works. not saying everyone has to love it, but the pizza gatekeeping is kind of ridiculous, just let people enjoy what they like

Chicken is cheaper than pork, and much cheaper than beef. So it's economic question more than gastronomic.

Anchovies on pizza are totally NORMAL and GOOD, it's called Pizza Napoli in Italy and it tastes great. Pineapple is a sweet fruit and does not belong together with tomato and mozzarella.

I understand that taste is subjective and some people in culinary undeveloped countries have been used to eat crap mixtures all their life so they could insert any crap in their mouth and will taste great.

Never understood the bullshit surrounding "pineapple on pizza". ITS FUCKIN PIZZA! LITERALLY ANYTHING CAN BE ON IT AND IT WILL BE GOOD!

People need to calm the fuck down and enjoy pizza the correct way... which is literally anyway.

The only real issue arises when I want foldable NY style and i get hit with a floppy boy... BRUH. COOK IT TILL IT CRACKS PLEASE! (honestly ill take "done" but no one ever cooks their pizza to the right done-ness if you just ask for it well done. You've gotta ask for it burnt to get anything close to a crust.)

Imo pineapple goes great with some meat on the pizza, especially pepperoni. I always go for like 3 different kinds of meaty deliciousness and then pineapple top them up.

It's honestly so good! Like my top 3 favorite topping I get it often. I usually eat the Hawaiian version with bacon/ham.

raw pineapple is gross, however juíce and icecream and such is great. Banana curry pizza slaps however

I like it way to overhated imo, it adds a sweet juice to most pizza's with oily and cheesy toppings
