The mod is there, it's set up to change everything away from family. You need persistent.patched=true to counter it.
Not sure how to do it the easy way, but I unpacked the game and changed false to true in the game/gui_scripts/patch.rpy file.

Because it's not? I just checked. It's stupid to use Patreon anyway, for subs it just encourages devs to keep cranking out censored garbage and for devs it just limits the story to basically the same boring bullshit everyone else is making there that isn't worth subbing to in the first place.

Ultimatums tend to do the opposite, I certainly wouldn't sub to a game that is more likely to get abandoned due to that public statement. This all is assuming I used Patreon in the first place, which I don't. Having to rely on 3rd party mods to make it what was probably originally intended = fuck it, let it get abandoned, I'll just go read something else in between Such A Sharp Pain updates. 35 subs = lol, I seriously doubt they are all giving him $30/mo each. Should have made an uncensored loli/incest game and put it on SS only if he really wanted $1000/mo that bad. Vanilla shit good enough for Patreon are a dime a dozen/easy to find for free, so most are not going to pay for that no more than they'd pay for regular porn site access when just about every video/movie made for those ends up on some free tube site within a couple of years (and even that crap is censored to stepcest after Alex Adams quit making them, unless you go to OF and pay a ridiculous sum to have a private custom video made).

Yeah the images have been overwriten (ie aunt on the ID when she calls), but not dialogues or the missing switch in the settings menu. It would be great if whoever uploaded it would install the patch beforehand, less headaches for the rest of us (those that prefer NOT to have incest in their porno games are prob not even 5% anyway). I'm prob gonna end up just giving up, as there's good odds it will end up abandoned after this update anyway unless the dev was bluffing.
Well lets hope the A.I finally gets her body in this update.

Its a good game with beautiful renders, the models are pleasing to the eye but the skin could be done better, the MC is submissive even on alpha path would like it to be more assertive,
the first time could be with a night lady, cant you give the players something better? -.- , the money making from the AI easily solves the MC life but dev dont seems to like to push early on in solving the money issue, that AI could be making money trading easily..

It looks like Carbon finally added a define your own relationship to the game, an incest patch may not be necessary now. It also looks like "old saves" might be broken, as it says "outdated" on all saves.
This what you get now when you start the game after giving yourself a name.
NOTE 2: You can still add these images if you want the phone to say Mom/Aunt when you use the "phone".

I'd argue that asking for a certain pay to be motivated to work is not moronic. We do this when we apply for a job or ask for a raise from our current employer. Pay me X amount or I won't work for you. However, the employer expects its employee to provide value on a consistent basis, often on a daily basis.

That reminds me of another Dev that tried the same shit.
So when a dev says they want $1000/month, they should also state what value they will provide for that pay.
The question is: has the dev provided enough value over the last 1.5 years to demand $1000/month? This is difficult to answer because the perspective of the customers and the dev (similar to employee and employer) are different. How much motivation is $1000/month for the dev to provide X amount of content? How much content is enough garner $1000/month?
Now the whole optional content aspect... I'll let others speak to that....

If a dev gives me what I actually want (lolis, incest, and generally other at least optional shit sites like Patreon will not allow, not just a good story and renders and vanilla sex scenes, like vanilla real porn those are easy enough to find for free so I couldn't care less if they are abandoned or not) I tend to pay them $1-2 a month per minute of content for an average reader with updates at least every 3-4 months (so as an example a 3 month update gives 1 hour of content that's the $20-40 tier, depending on how much I like it). To me that's more than generous and these days there's not even 5 AVNs that fit that criteria (SSP one of them). Sure as the one getting paid everyone wants more money but there's only 1 Gates Foundation gving it away for free and making the same mediocre-at-best vanilla shit everyone else is is not the way to get it, unless you are one of the few devs that are a really good bullshitter with exceptional marketing skills with a budget to go with that (eg Ocean or Dr. Pink Cake).

I hope the MC doesn't get an incurable STD from raw-dogging the granny whore that should have retired long ago and then spreading it to all his other LI's. That scene used to be avoidable but for some strange reason that is no longer a choice.
