Cloud gaming will be replace of the xbox and PS consoles(for example g-force now but needs fast net) but AI is always improving. I suggest you watch Black Mirror TV series if you havent watchet it yet. There are far more techs that people doesnt know about..

Even though I like black mirror, I'm not so sure about using it as a reference for technological advances.

I think you can use the reference, but not literally, although I have to say, to this point, blackmirror is pretty on the point. I'm now rewatching and some episodes give me the creeps (yesterday I watched the Waldo one, and it is scary considering the last couple of months)

how are you feeling right now?

Yeah it was just what I needed.
Yeah Archer is pretty good. I've watched it many times. So there's a few seasons that aren't as funny anymore.

First few seasons of Archer were great, I got about half way through the season where he's in a coma and want to get back to watching it some time but keep getting distracted by other stuff

[Vizer007]

Watching El Eternauta now)
Actually quite great!
Unexpectedly human. Is that a thing? It's like I am watching some actual people, stupid as they are, and not actors that doing their role by the textbook.

Also re-watching the last of us, and the new season.

Oh yeah, I should watch that one too!
1st season was unexpectedly good, even if the Elly was...whatever the fuck was casted as Elly instead of the person who at least looks like the character.

[Lock/Start/Sto]

I wasn't either, but my focus is on the fact that diferent from other more terrenal needs like eating and breathing, the yearning for a loved one is something that could be considered more spiritual than mortal.

Regarding the fact that in that portrayal of heaven you wouldn't be able to feel any kind of sorrow whatsoever is more concerning than anything if you think about it and it's implications deeply enough.

Hello again to everybody.

Yes I understand what you say, Castell and I think it's important to point out that Catholic faith doesn't exclude animals in any way, they are God's creations, I copy directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"Animals are God's creatures. He surrounds them with his providential care. By their mere existence they bless him and give him glory."
(i can give you the reference if you want to keep reading it yourself)

And I understand that it is difficult to think of a state without sorrow, sadness or pain. But that's the thing about heaven I think that without our mortal mindset it's real difficult to picture it. Think about it like this, as humans we can't view our existence without sleep, but in heaven we wont need sleeping. We won’t miss anything, because we’ll have everything we truly need to be happy forever.

I hope I made across my point and sorry if I'm being overly preachy.

[Vizer007]

Oh, damn, I was happy only for a moment. It turned out to be a meme T-T

[Lock/Start/Sto]

No matter what you're here for or how long you stay, we're glad to have you with us!

Thank you for the warm welcome, Lazarus.

Then what good is that? I am sticking with my rainbow bridge dreams and I prefer not to think of a pack of soul starved dogs waiting to feast on me.

I understand where are you coming from, but the Catholic faith doesn't try to take your love for pets away, in fact, it teaches that all true love comes from God and directs us back to him.

Id have to double check this because I'm no expert but our pets wont be "gone forever", the promise of heaven is that nothing good is lost.
I would say that if pets makes us fell fully happy we can trust in God that he wont let that love go to waste. God knows your heart better than you do.

Again, sorry for the theological conversation.

I don't get it. Who is he?

[Vizer007]

I don't get it. Who is he?

Some russian actor that looks like the girl that was chosen as Elly in The Last of Us, for some unknown reason.
To be fair, I would gladly watch The Last of Us again if he was Elly, who speaks in clearly mans voice in broken english with russian accent xD

Or with some deepfake and make her look like actual Elly, that would work too.

[Mcloving]

yo guys, hope im not interrupting a conversation here, but im discussing this with my roommate and would love your input,do you wipe standing up or sitting down?
