I think you can use the reference, but not literally, although I have to say, to this point, blackmirror is pretty on the point. I'm now rewatching and some episodes give me the creeps (yesterday I watched the Waldo one, and it is scary considering the last couple of months)

Yes I understand what you say, Castell and I think it's important to point out that Catholic faith doesn't exclude animals in any way, they are God's creations, I copy directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"Animals are God's creatures. He surrounds them with his providential care. By their mere existence they bless him and give him glory."
(i can give you the reference if you want to keep reading it yourself)
And I understand that it is difficult to think of a state without sorrow, sadness or pain. But that's the thing about heaven I think that without our mortal mindset it's real difficult to picture it. Think about it like this, as humans we can't view our existence without sleep, but in heaven we wont need sleeping. We won’t miss anything, because we’ll have everything we truly need to be happy forever.
I hope I made across my point and sorry if I'm being overly preachy.
