Got P4 last August at a discount that left me with around 20K or so in my account. Been chatting and collecting interest ever since.

The thing is, I'm probably not even in the top 20 here, maybe not even the top 40. I don't do art and I don't chat nearly as often or nearly as much as a lot of folks around here. If you hang out a bit, engage in conversations, post some funny shit, etc., you'll start to accumulate. If you're an AI artist you can earn even more, faster, if you can post in the art threads.

Even if you don't have access to the M+, P1 or P4 threads, you can still create art for them and get it posted there - @mime helped people with that, and I think that's still the case, at least to some degree. So, if you do that kind of thing, check in with Mime or one of the Mods and see how you would go about submitting. First thing you'll need to do, though, is understand the guidelines of what is acceptable at each level - there's a page for that, so that's where I'd start if it's something that interests you.

As a reference my next collection will be 340k and I am not sure if I am in the top 20, but that doesn't bother me. I just think back to when my interest was only 800 a day.

It depends entirely on you. How good your posts are, and if you start spamming.
People here are good at helping newbies, who want to engage at least a little to the place, and that usually depends on the quality of posts.
