Am I the only person that thinks this new site layout is just hard on the eyes? It’s awful! They need to keep the layout simple. This harsh coloring will give me a headache.

Huh, i hadnt noticed. I just figured my brain was entering its last stages of death...

Its certainly a little too bright running hdr thats for sure. Wouldnt mind some colour options.

Luckily it's easy to change it back in your prefs. I did that right away.

I actually LOVE this new theme - would be awesome if you could toggle or adjust the animation speed though

I don't mind the new design, personally. There were improvements required with the last one and there could be improvements with this one too (*cough* search features *cough*), but I think this is a step in the right direction.

After a couple of hours of swearing, I cooled down, turned on my head, looked in my profile (preferences - style) and returned everything to its previous appearance. But pink font on a dark blue background - what web design genius thought of that? My eyes start hurting after 10 minutes, I can't see which threads I've commented on.

I actually like the new design. But still I am happy that it can be changed back. Choice is always good!

I agree, when I logged on and saw the new layout I thought...

Yeah it might be a bit much for my eyes, I'm sure i'll get use to it. but today the site went back to normal, did that happen for anybody else?

I'm sure I'll get used to it. Only thing that really bothers me is I JUST got used to the old layout since I'm still pretty new and now I have to do it again lol

What was before? I am new here, for me currently it is not bad, good UX. Edit: after comparing, there seems to be better usage of space on the current version, no empty spaces on the sides, which I think makes it better

Go into your profile preferences, and try the different options for Style. You'll see the older looks still there.

Just takes a little time to get used to. Doesn't look great on wide-screen, but that can be said about many websites.

I'm giving it a bit more time. But not sure it's an improvement just yet.
