Roger.

On an unrelated note, has someone seen the disney snow white live action?

A friend took her mom to go see it. Says they both enjoyed it well enough.

Even if it's not great, I don't think it deserves the hate it's getting.

Maybe a modern version where the 7 dwarves go through a red light district singing "Hi, ho! Hi, Ho!" while waving to the prostitutes.

THERE'S SO MUCH PURPLE!!! I love this new UI. I wasn't involved in this, but give this change the 100% Gorion Support Seal

Yeah, heard they rewrote it multiple times and the final version was a somewhat bland but pasable story.

But it's a disney live action and that's bad enough.

I think most of people hate comes from the production and not from the movie itself.

[Vizer007]

I never heard of it.

Seriously?
Damn, it was all the rage a few years ago xD

I think a lot of it is that it just didn't need to be made. The original movie is fine.

Doesn't really ring all that many bells. I may have seen a youtube ad for it perhaps. Which would make it mobile trash if true.

To be fair the old disney movie is indeed a little old and the style can be a little unfamiliar to childreen but a) a live action is not the solution b) disney sucks at writing lately c) the money is indeed most likely the only reason they are doing it.

Side note... I only just realised your name was bobforleweds not bobforlewds...

This started more (I think), when they remade The Lion King in live action. It made a lot of money, so in their minds, live action=money

To be fair, I heard about it because I play Lessons in Love where it also laughed at.
I think it's more relevant to the twitch streamers community?
I don't use twitch, so, no idea.

I've come to the realization that these movies just weren't made with my demographic as the target audience.

I'm a middle aged man who has Snow White on VHS and watched all of these Disney movies as they came out.

Animated Lion King was released over 30 years ago. Live action was released 25 years after.

It was aimed at a totally different generation, just like all of these new ones are. And that's ok.

Good times, when you watched a film so many times that you memorized everything, then you didn't watch it anymore, you said everything that was going on

Lovely choice

whats 351907?

Sorry, it's the nhentai comic number.

Just as they said. That's why all the manga I share has the thumbnails in a spoiler with a number code on it.

From everything I've heard and what I've seen with the trailers, the movie is a 4 at best. Gadot's acting as the Queen was objectively bad, they bloated it with too many side characters, and they tried a ham-fisted message where they had to very blatantly tell rather than show the moral, which I feel is a pretty bad failing of demonstrating a moral.

This started more (I think), when they remade The Lion King in live action. It made a lot of money, so in their minds, live action=money

It's definitely an obsession with money. Live action is cheaper than animation (though, that's not really the case with the Lion King, that's 100% animation), and they don't need to do as much writing if they just reuse existing material. Everything about a corporation is about profit margins.

I do enjoy a challenge...what in particular would help @KaityCat right now? Any direction is appreciated.

We love Blur, happy to share her info with y'all.

The Warning - Indeed it doesn't hurt that they are all beautiful, but they are also exceptionally talented and charismatic and kind, which makes them the full package to me.

Well, the challenge (and reward offer) is for @bakajanai specifically. However, I know Kaity loves her wholesomeness, catgirls and all the tiddies. So, if you want to give her a smile - that's where I'd start,

"full package"

When has Gadot's acting been anything *but* objectively bad?

And I worry about these generations that have zero media literacy and need to have their hands held and led to what should be a very obvious conclusion.

Don't worry about new generations, they are neck deep into a youtube and games of questionable quality.
Movies they watch is one of the least dangerous problems...
