That is true, I am a little bit hopeful, I feel that in the last few years gaming companies have taken large losses because their games have not sold well.
So I hope that the people in charge will understand that making games that are more consumer friendly is the way to go and not making live services, battle passes, microtransactions etc.

But I am probably hopeful for no reason and the future will just suck more.

They've been sacrificing all for the sake of infinite growth to please investors. There was also the pandemic bubble because tons of people were trapped at home and started gaming only to slow way down once they could go outside again. All they care about is short term gains so they can sell stock at a profit. Long term product quality and business stability be damned. All for the sake of the short term gain.

Over the last few years I've spent the vast majority of my time with indie and AA games over the big AAA titles, which are often way overpriced for what they give.

Hah, try at around 40 again, you'll know what being a zombie feels like. And i don't even do that for shits and giggles, but sometimes to basically reset my sleep cycle from staying up waaaay too late... the times i've sworn myself to never do that to myself again just to be sitting there sleep deprived days/weeks later again doing 30-36 hours so i can get up early once again without being completely useless so early ...

Pajama Shorts or Pajama Pants. As soon as I get home, I take off the jeans or slacks, and go straight in-home casual. The most generic, ratty, beat-in comfortable shirt, and some light bottoms. It used to be sweat pants, but Texas ruined those for me.

Ehh, it ain't much right now.
Just a diablo like, with like 3-5 different classes, of course with a nice amount of abilities, bosses, dungeons, and a shit ton of loot to pick up, and make builds out of.
A fantasy setting, maybe you'll pick a race too.
Like the idea of class specialization later on, so an Acolyte could go either Necomancer, warlock, or a third spec.
As I said, not that much right now.

I usually don't care, what I wear, but I got a nice newish hoodie, which isn't to warm or to cold to have on.
So that's kinda my default to put on, when I'm going outside.

Is everyone here just farming or is there any interesting stuff I should watch out for ?

Mostly farming, but you'll hit something funny every now and then. Good question. I browse the recent threads to see if there is anything worth replying to and throw a like to anything funny or I find that's quote worthy.

I feel totally naked without my wedding ring, but favourite outfit to wear is cargo shorts, graphic tees, and a hoodie. I am a total dad cliche.

Well, serious answer - I have a specific set of clothes that I only wear when flying to my vacations. Wearing them has become a personal tradition, marking the start of each trip and putting me in the right mindset for adventure. As soon as I reach for them in my wardrobe my mood instantly gets better.
