Happy Taco Tuesday / April Fools day -- and no I will not be promoting indulging in your taco hunger with surprise traps -- (though I thought about it)

Only three pages of backreading ahead followed by a dental appointment which will bump my interest collection time back by a couple hours -- Oh well - it was ever thus.

Spoiler: some stuff.

It's a meme, based on a girl about to get plowed by a bunch of guys. It's been parodied a lot, including Star Wars and such. I like to make AI Meme's, and TMNT sort of made sense. Funny thing is, I sent that to a friend, and she didn't get it either. I let her in on the joke and she thought it was pretty diabolical, and thinks it's absolutely hilarious, but also glad she didn't send it to her nephew.

I had to brush my teeth, scrape my tongue, and rinse with mouthwash twice, because I still tasted the caramel long afterward.

I love the guys that do practical effects, they're incredibly friendly and passionate. I don't personally know anyone that does the post-production visual stuff. I do however have a friend that works with mechanical rigging and demolition. He's an oddball and has been doing it for like 30+ years. I should pay him a visit while I'm here.

Now I appreciate your TMNT pic even more! Thank you for educating me.

Ugh, I can taste the caramel and I haven't even had any.

I always appreciated practical f/x and what can be done with makeup. It's so interesting to me.

I feel you on this deeply

It's fine though, I just wanted to point out to those without families that as envious as they may be, this situation comes with a good deal of awkward uncomfortableness.

Today it's really slow here.

You all just left me here by myself?

I'm sure he was a completely different person behind the cameras. Of course I would have liked to meet him.
I'm curious, did you met ever someone like Margulis, J. Gould or Lovelock?

Noo- The group I was in was much more a hands on sort of folks -- While all of us were aware of the Gaia hypotheses, I don't ever remember talking about it and they certainly were never at any of the gatherings where I was. I always did like the Daisyworld concept though -- probably because it was a cute name though I consider it too simplistic. .

I was half expecting a pig invasion, though with how slow the thread is going. Maybe we are safe??.

Interesting concept and it would be so like those scheming pigs to stage their invasion on April Fools day -- Then any time someone would scream "The Pigs are invading!!" everybody would say -- April Fools to you to . Next thing you know -- we have Pig overlords.

I guess we all have a collective melancholia today... well, most of us. Whatever handful answers there were in this thread since my last posting - I swear I even queue quotes here but by the time I reached the reply box I just drew a blank in my mind and deleted all of it. So, see you guys late Wednesday, I guess. Maybe Thursday. Chatting is not in me today for some reason.

An April Fools Day joke I played on my mom when I was a kid was dumping out the ice cubes trays and filling them with liquid soap before placing them back in the freezer.

I understood the Daisyworld concept more like a simplistic example, but the theory refereed to the whole of the ecosphere, so millions of spices of living things interacting with the planet making it -to a degree- more habitable.
But, anyway, I just read two of his books, and I lack the deep critic way of thinking, and knowledge, that any real biologist has. The same with Margulis and J. Gould, I was taken away with their theories, but again, I just read their books.

Rest well Slum!
I'm pretty much out now, as well. My connection keeps dropping, driver is like 5 minutes from my destination, and I'm about to be saddled with meetings for maybe the next 5 or so hours.

Yupp, you too, DubbleU!
See you next time.

Sorry Poldek!
But, free food was offered!
Slum doesn't say no to that.

Good thing I got the best security system!

Also Hi MTelly! Good to see you!

[Puffnstuff]

And the characters in your art should always be of-age.

Yes, because telling the difference between a 16 and 18 year old is so easy. But thanks for the clarification.

I have a question about that ghost P5 rank vs. the P5 rank. One is cheaper to buy than the other. How come? Privacy is worth more? It's just me being a curious pest again.

[dirty36]

,
I toyed around with AI a while back and was much worse.
Definitely need a new machine before I try again...

[Poldek]

Why are you looking at her hands?!

Because he is Iñigo Montoya!!!! And someone with six fingers killed his father, and whoever he is, he has to prepare to die. Don't you see?

[KaySwitchPrime]

Why are you looking at her hands?!

I mean, I didn't notice.

[Puffnstuff]

It is. I had a male friend in high school who could've passed for 35, easily. And I've known some women who could've passed for high schoolers in their mid and late 20s.

I think you misunderstood me? I was sarcastically say it isn't. and I think you sorta proved my point? Anyway, I wasn't serious so no biggie.

[TheDude14]

I mean, she isn't blonde, but she's still pretty good looking.

Morning to you Scuffed!
Ehh, was just a nice and casual day, considering all the april fools, that could have happened.

TD! Good to see you!

Doing fine, not much to say there.

Thank you Slum

Yeah doing better. Today is my first real day back to work. Was here yesterday but wasn't fully up to par to be truly helpful. So mainly just sat at the desk shipping while someone else was doing all the heavy lifting. Glad you're doing well

[KaySwitchPrime]

A couple nights ago, I decided to check out Burned for a few minutes and the unique and funny story (and models) really drew me in and I ended up playing the first chapter. It does have some graphic scenes too, but I was impressed with the writing especially.
