Thanks for indulging me with a response! Would love to hear more about your time at Cannes upcoming whenever you have a chance - hope you get some more cool interactions with people you admire.I go to TIFF, pretty often, I have a house in Toronto. It's nice being able to see movies early and potentially meet Actors, Celebrities, and Director's. I watched The Brutalitist at TIFF last year, which I thought was really good. I met Zoe Saldana, and a few other people, I wanted to meet Selena Gomez, but she was swarmed non-stop, so I didn't get the chance. I mostly remember that she looked really good, and for some reason the venue was incredibly hot, so I felt sweaty the whole time. I remember getting deodorant spray, and showering like 3 times a day.
This is the first time I've been official invited to Cannes, but I have done 3 Days at Cannes a few times.
I'm often in Burbank, the other surrounding areas of LA, Vancouver, and Toronto. So, I meet quite a few famous people. If I had to say Film Festivals feel very organized, while they're sort of fun, it feels more conference-like than an actual convention. It's hard to explain. I've been to BIFF, TIFF, and Cannes, but haven't gone to Venice Film Festival, and only went to Sundance once.
