I've set my alarm, but didn't have it set for every or for that day, or set it for PM instead of AM, missed a flight, and because the Airport peeps can be assholes, I lost 600 bucks because cancelling flights and refunds are lame

It was a learning lesson, let them handle it, if you rebook your own flight you won't get shit back. They're usually obligated to give you another next available flight, with a service fee, of course.

Nope, I gave up, and never fly Delta if I get the chance, they have a shit reputation. I usually fly Frontier, because it's super cheap, usually big city to big city is between 45-75 or 100-200 dollars per flight, with little reservations. I pay way more than that and take longer if I drive, but I'm not keen on Flying in the US with the way shit is going. I literally mentioned being skittish about flying on here, and then picked up a Friend at the Airport in Denver/DIA just the other day, when we had yet another problem with a Plane catching fire. I flew to Toronto last month, around a week before that Delta Plane flipped. So, yep, paranoia kicking in lately.

I like the airplane, but I hate the airport. Never helpful, even when you ask for it, but the first one to stab you when they have an interest to do it.

Yeah, I do, and I'm sure you'll find a lot of people here that do. Friends and family sometimes can't understand the struggle either due to them having not experienced it yet or just not knowing how to express to you that they want you to be ok. So they may say things that can ring hollow but may genuinely come from a place of love. The best I can tell you is that you are not alone and that having depression doesn't make you lesser than anyone. That no matter how hard things get, life always seems to find a way to get better if you hang on.

I don't have problems like that, since they tend not to actively target frequent flyers, but I've had my share of straight up assholes, including people trying to change seats and getting pissy about it.
