Can definitely second @Slumdum recommendation of Cosy Cafe, playing it right now with occasional breaks for this thread and experimenting with gif edit. Very cute and loving story, though as far as I can see, it is KN, not VN.

Cosy Cafe, is one I recommend everytime, I can. If you don't mind a little maledom, where the girls are willing to it, it's a good game.
Harem Hotel, be warned though this one is a sandbox, so that puts some off, but the stories good too.
