No offense taken at all. My son HATES musicals, but me and my daughter enjoy a bunch of them. We did finally convince my son to watch The Greatest Showman, which he did enjoy, probably helped that Wolverine has a starring role.

That was something I enjoyed straight off the bat. The last Hugh Jackman movie we watched was Logan (still haven't watched the new Deadpool yet).

Logan made me cry.

My son shares my distaste of musicals but he watched the movie without complaint. His reaction to it when I asked was: "Eh. Whatever."

I have a feeling he is trying to downplay his enjoyment.

Labels are practical because they allow us to define and group different things in a simple way. We just have to remember that they can't represent the world in all its complexity.
