To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when the ladies of the house voted for it. I'm not a fan of musicals, but when Barnum said "..watching my girls grow up" and went to their performance - it hit my heart like a truck.

Seeing my children grow up is the greatest gift I've ever been given. When my girls were born I made a promise to break away from my past and anything that could possibly hold me back from being the best I could be for them and I hope when they're grey like me, they'll think I did a good job.

"Rewrite the Stars" and Phillip and Anne's relationship really dug into me and my wife. We've known each other since we were very, very young and there were a lot of things that kept us from each other along the way and along that path of heartache, pain and discovery, we found our destiny.

To quote Princess Bride, "Life is pain." but..

Hah. You'd get along well with my wife and the youngest girl. They love musicals and Rent is a favorite of theirs. God I hate that movie - that and Phantom of the Opera. Moulin Rouge is no better in my opinion.

Was surprised I enjoyed The Greatest Showman as much as I did, but I admit the things I enjoyed most about it were things that reminded me of the things I do care about.

I mean, if it has "to much" AI then, I would say yes, but that opens the question of when is to much.
Is it a crime to torture animals?
Well, I would say at the level of animal intellect, yes it would be torture, just like any other animal.

No offense taken at all. My son HATES musicals, but me and my daughter enjoy a bunch of them. We did finally convince my son to watch The Greatest Showman, which he did enjoy, probably helped that Wolverine has a starring role.
