Eh, I'm OK being me. I don't know if I'd want to be someone else, even for a day. I know what is in my head. Not sure I want to know what is in some other people's heads.

Definitely a woman, just to feel the difference. Also, a top-notch physicist scientist, to better understand the universe and what we are made of. Or an all-knowing creature. Do I have to be human or could I be a all-knowing god?

As a non-native English speaker, I learned many English expressions in school. I'm curious: do people in English-speaking countries use expressions like 'pulling your leg'?


Today I'm cooking pizzas to eat with my family and then we will watch a movie.

There's a few easy answers of people I'd like to be for a day to ensure that I destroyed their lives for the betterment of the world, or people I'd like to be to ensure my own betterment after the day was over, but I can't think of anyone else that I'd actually like to BE for a day.

Maybe one of the astronauts on the ISS just for the sheer uniqueness of the experience that would be.

While I understand spiders are friendly little guys and are helpful to have around, it still freaked me the fuck out when a Tarantula showed in my bathroom while I was bathing.

Yep, thats understandable, they aren´t the most good looking animal, except for the jumping spiders, those are really cute little things, and even if rarely, they can still bite you, so yep, even if you know, its not easy to stop freaking out just for knowing.

Believe it or not, even though I'm scared of big hairy spiders, I forced myself to have one walk across my hand at this petting zoo party I went to and it felt super cool

Thats really cool, the most similar thing that happens to me is when some random spider fell from my roof to my bed, first times that really freaked me out XD

Actually I love spiders and do not understand the hate some folks have for them -- remember if they are in your house they are eating something -- they could be saving you from dengue fever or malaria

I´m 100% with you on the love for spiders, but still, lettin them inside my mouth, hell nah, not cause they´re spider, but in general I wouldnt let any living animal inside my mouth, thats too much for me XD
And also, you can have lazy spiders, like, sometimes I just see how some mosquitoes pass right in front of them or by their side and they react like, a second later, really funny when that happens

Honestly, I love roleplaying, but for some reason trying to picture myself as another person in reality is difficult because the people I'd pick we know so much about, so I'd just be a fly on the wall. I'd rather have a clean page to write myself, so maybe just a good solid isekai?

Y'all have been busy today, I have a bunch of catching up to do. I've been busy playing games with the family all day. Pokemon Go, Fortnite and Catan. Anyone else into modern boardgames?

Also any Catan players? It's been my most played boardgame for a few years, because some of our players are obsessed with it.

Today is a big day (at least for me), as the Lazarus vs. Evil Surgeon Dance-Off concludes in just under a half an hour as I write this.

I hope it's been fun for everyone involved, and I would like to thank everyone who voted and participated.

No work for me today so I'll be browsing the site, catching up on more of the backread from my couple days away, and later I'll be helping the wife cook dinner. We're having tilapia, home-made mashed potatoes and baked asparagus tonight, with a movie after. (So far the house vote is split between Better Man and a Hellboy 1 & 2 rewatch.)
