First of all, thank you for the praise. I think we're both doing our best and have improved a lot in many aspects when you compare the older games with the slightly newer ones - which, by far, does not mean that they are perfect.
Just as you can't reach/satisfy everyone with story and writing style. But in this respect I'm trying to work on myself and critic is appreciated, even if I will of course always have my own style.
And yes, I'm also responsible for the music in Sandra. Only the - rightfully (!) - much praised main menu/title track was chosen by Lirius. So all credits to him.

Regarding the screenshot problem, thanks for the details (with the quick menu), I'll have a look. something's not right ...
I'll let you know when I've found out something.

what was the point of pregnancy if it happen in like last 10 frames of the game?
no dialogue related to that, no scenes, no nothing, just suddenly bam - you got kids

Epilogue pregnancy usually happens due to Daz technical issues. It's a really hard pain in the ass to do and not make it look like shit, that bulging belly loves to clip right through her clothes and maternity clothes are hard to find in the Daz store (and most devs do not want to make their own assets too if they can avoid it), so it's limited to as few renders as possible (with possibly all day spent on single render). Even Ketzal has just left it in flashbacks so far and those are simply naked, open shirt, etc) and this is not even considering animating it that pregnancy fetishists would certainly start begging for. As far as the pregnancy ending that was probably added as an afterthought by the dev, as all the previous story was someone else's from over 20 years ago, just adapted to an AVN. Probably without that and people stuck with "you get married but condemned to be childless and eventually die leaving all property to the state" most would consider a far worse ending and not a happy one. Overall it wasn't horrible, I just assumed it was a simple misdiagnosis (it happens) and she got pregnant at 14 the following year. If you think this ending is horrible for comparison try Sparkling Duplicity, as far as bad endings go this one is fluffy bunnies and rainbows.

I was able to solve the problem with the screenshots. Cheers to the RenPy Discord

I am also uploading a new version (v1.01) I assume that lirius will update it here later.
For those who already have the game, you can use this patch that fixes the problem.
Simply unzip/copy the file into the "/game/" directory and overwrite the existing scripts.rpy !

Same again on the boat (pink text) ...seems to be a bad idea to use textlike images and allow name changes at the same time

I don't really like the ending... at all.
Basically it goes "Oh, you're together now and you finally have sex, but wouldn't you know it your loli has shrivelled up ovaries and will never have children. womp womp."
Why did you spend time making renders for a gynecological visit to tell us Sandra is infertile?
You could have just ended the game without her getting pregnant at all. Feels like the game is tiptoeing between just wanting to be a drama tragedy and then hide that with some moments of naked loli and some lewd scenes.

Ok, Hi!
Thank you for reporting this. I didn't notice that during testing.
It's probably the same error that occurs with the translation when you change the language in the game.
The "intermediate images" are simply not updated.
I'll try again to find a solution.
Until then, I can only say that - as annoying as it is - at the moment, only a restart after entering the name (just like when changing the language) really helps.
Definitely something I will remember for the future. (Probably not to use this combination of text and variables anymore)
And if I do find a solution, I'll get in touch/update the game.

Ok... I actually managed to disable the error. You are welcome to copy the patch into your "sandra/game" directory and simply overwrite the old "script.rpa".
The patch fixes both the problem, with entering names and the problem when toggling between translations.
Lirius will probably update the links for the complete game again later. (Uploading right now)

Even if I don't really like the result, I think it's good that you've made your opinion known and also pointed out things that you personally didn't like about the story.
Everyone likes different stories, of course.
But maybe it would be nice to use a "spoiler tag" (in your review) for other players when you publish important hints about the content of the story.
Nobody should think that it's just the assessment of a frustrated player who wants to "destroy everything behind him" just because he doesn't like the story - doesn't make a good impression, does it?

As I said, no offense, and thank you for your opinion.
Maybe you'll like the story of another of our games better - or not.

Is this a drama? Is this a tragedy? Is this a romance? It kind of feels like it flip-flips between them but doesn't get a home run on any single one.
And ending it like this just puts a sour note on everything. If this was vital to the story it should have happened in the middle to create space for the even to breathe and how the protagonists will deal with it.

So... I find it difficult to categorize the story - and I don't really want to.

In my opinion, works of any kind only become art through the viewer's interpretation. That you like - that even gives you something - or not.
Viewers/consumers who want to have a work "explained" - according to the motto "what did the artist want to tell us with it" have a different view of art than I do.
For me, the statement is revealed in the individual consideration by the individual. Everyone sees it - more or less - differently.
But sorry, I'm digressing.

Personally, I liked the story very much, all in all, precisely because of your above-mentioned critique.
It' is really not the 100th story of "Man meets girl - they experience ups and downs (but please not too bad "downs") and in the end they ride happily into the sunset" exaggeratedly formulated.
One or two things could certainly have been formulated better. For example, I would accept the critique that he (Shana) sometimes tends to overdo it a bit with the morals. But that's a bit of a quirk of his that I can live with. And I don't think Shana was a - and I'm certainly no - professional writer.

As I said, maybe you will like another story. The next update for "Black and White" is coming soon and "The Trio" will be something completely different.
