You need to have a Detector constructed and active (with at least one Sensor). You'll find random items buried in the dirt, some of which will be Tech Chips. It's a low drop rate, but with patience, you'll find some.

You need the portal stick (from faraway island) to get into the cave.
I think the lamp fish might be used in a potion on the Alchemy table, but I'm not certain. If not, then they're both just unused components at this point.

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the UFO event. I'm completing all the tasks for it (at least I think so). Unfortunately, I'm on day 111 with Hos hionna, as ordered and not picked up, and not a UFO anywhere in sight. Does anyone have a plan?

I'm thinking of diving in and trying this game for the first time, but I'm confused by all of the different download links. Are any of these actually worth playing at this point, or has the development of the game moved so far past them that it there's no point? I know it's going to be a huge investment of time just to get familiar with the game play, and I'd hate to waste it on a very early release when there may be a much better one floating around out there. Any advice? Just what exactly is the difference between the versions available here, and are any of them worth the time?

This game is no longer maintained on this site due to the introduction of a toddler. New releases are still fairly regular, public Demo is 0.48, paid is 0.70 or 0.69.9S, but you'll have to find them yourself (This thread has many clues).

As to versioning, 0.x.x means not finished, 0.x.x is the latest update (so 70 of them now), 0.x.x are bug fixes and tweaks. Games with an S on the end are supporter versions that allow you to toggle on and off special event (xmas & easter) which are only otherwise active in the original release version.

That is kinda stupid when they made this site to combat F95 censorship. And now they do the same.
