Sounds like a grid control room in any country in the world. No, seriously, I don't understand how we all around the globe have yet to me a total blackout worldwide.

Yeah it's a control room, and we also deal with electric stuff (like 130kA arcs with like 30MW per furnace, of which we have three). when we have incidents, the lights flicker in a 20 mile radius lol

at least we aren't responsible for anything but our own stuff so no blackouts (except that one time we fed like 80MVAr back into the grid all at once because all the capacitor banks went out at the same time and nobody noticed because the control systems suuuuck)

I'm actually a White Sox fan over the Cubbies. I always root for them to do well though.. and then when they play each other in interleague play.. I hope the Sox beat the shit outta the Cubs.

Although, the White Sox will be lucky to not lose over a 100 games again this year. *sigh*
