Whoever decides what goes on in the control room at work are insane. there are four seats, 13 separate computers with 24 total monitors with at least four different versions of windows (vista, 7, 10 and 11), and uptimes measured in time since last blackout. The median specs is 2GB ram, and most of the stuff we use for work are through the browser. And they wonder why everything's so slow lol

some of the computers run the exact same software as other computers, synced to the same data, purely because people want two parts of the software open simultaneously. it's... something. wish i could provide a picture but can't

the 2GB computers were win vista and 7, tbf. The win 11 computers were basically gaming computers, with a whole 4GB, enough for the most demanding of flash games
