No,, nothing serious. Just few cm of water under house and courtyard. I always keep things off the ground when it rains heavy. I knew the house can get bit flood when we buy so, I can prepare for worst. It does not usually flood. Only every so many year, but still, nice to prepare.

I have the same issue -- Every couple years I have an extended power outage or my sump pump dies and I get a couple inches of water in the basement -- Now everything down there is either in plastic boxes or raised a few inches off the floor -- it IS definitely better to be prepared .

Ugh so I was out yesterday because of the headache. Come in today. Not to bad 13 orders. Got pretty much most of everything packaged within the first hour. But since then it's been constant interruptions and a meeting ( which once again I leave without knowing what I'm supposed to be doing with this new system )

Cake or Pie?

Answer: Between the two I'd pick cake. I do enjoy some pies, especially meat pies, but most fruit pies I don't really care for. Cake, there's not many cakes I'd say no to.
However, if tarts were an option, I'd pick that, because I love me some cheesecake.

The sheer variety alone trumps cake a hundred times over.

You've got your apple pie and pumpkin pie..

..then you've got your pecan pie..

..and let's not forget the many variations of pot pie, shepherds pie and assorted meat pies..

More than a few of us have done that. You'd be surprised to know this is like the third of fourth iteration of this thread. The first two combined was close to this ones total.

Yeah, there are those of us called backreaders. I used to be a backreader until a took becoming a moderator to the knee. This thread represents only about 1/3 of just the lurker threads that have existed on the site. I've read the entirety of what we call the "OG" lurker thread (it's not the original...)
