I was all excited until I saw who the dev was, the same one that made that massive disappointment called Thamar (the sister you don't even get to fuck, instead she practically fucks everyone but her brother/MC). And he's an idiot if he thinks a loli version will pass Steam's gestapos, though not sure what their policy is when there's 2 different versions of an AVN with only one submitted to them for review. Patreon passes it, at least for now, as long as it has 2 different titles like Friends Indeed (boring) and Friends In Need (not boring).

Edit: After skimming through it there are no lolis as everyone is 18 and unrealistically wait until 18 to presumably fuck (not shown) too even in flashbacks, so even the "taboo" version is weak. Could have at least put an age setter in it to make it more realistic if he was too chicken to make them early teens by default. I mean hell I fucked my sister when she was 14, fuck that waiting to 18 silliness, when you're a horny kid with fresh hormones raging almost no one actually does that. Considering there's already a Patreon version (that I'm assuming is even more boring than this "taboo" version) this doesn't even need to be on a platform and could have went for actual taboo with the Patreon version subsidizing it, where no one is 18 that doesn't need to be and the "lolis" were actual prepubescent girls by default. If anything they should be called the boring-original and the-even-more-boring-and-censored-for-Patreon versions.

There's a low chance someone will make a mod to add an age setter or, simpler, lower the ages of everyone by 3-4 years and change dialogues with references to it (ie college changed to high school, high school changed to elementary, etc). If iOtero didn't typically make boring shit (AVNs with little to no fucking no matter how long it is = boring and not much of an AVN, and barely qualifies for even having the A in AVN) I'd probably do that myself. Not sure who actually subs to this crap but apparently they are easily entertained and have more money than brains.

They got a little smarter, and are making two separate versions from the start this time. That way they can sell the regular one on steam or whatever, and the taboo version is on their itch. We'll see how that works out.

If it's just fapping to Google images then no, but with AVNs with a whole story to get immersed in then yes, big difference. And frankly it just sounds stupid when I practically keep getting beat over the head with a book that says they are 18 over and over every 3rd sentence, at the least that's annoying as fuck. especially when not only I coudn't give a fuck if they are 18 or not but would actually prefer that they weren't, if the models can pass for 14-15 and in some cases 12 if their tits are really small, it's why loli tags exist (though in this case more like hebe = poor mans's loli). Most devs that want to circumvent Patreon's and similar bullshit handle this by simply not mentioning ages or clues like what type of school they go to at all and keeping it vague on purpose, so readers can simply use their "head canon" and make their own age-related assumptions. In this case with the idiotic almost constant repetitive reminders that's practically impossible.

Both are shit and neither are worth buying anywhere, even the "loli" one is crap and they are all 18, not just from the usual introductory disclaimer (that's usually easily enough to ignore) but you get reminded every 3rd sentence in the story itself.

Not really. Even the "taboo version" has nothing taboo about it; no lolis, and the incest is mentioned/inferred but not really shown much, unless you count mommy giving you a hand job after waiting until you are 18 for some stupid reason (could have done it when MC was 12-13, that's when I started getting horny on the regular, and since incest is already illegal anyway in NY why care about AOC but not incest?).
