Hope you all had a great Monday.

Celebrated a birthday with the family, talked, reminisced, and watched a show together. All around a wonderful day.

Another day of work ahead tomorrow but figured I'd drop in and see how my favorite hive of scum and villainy was doing.

And good evening to you Lazarus.
Monday was fine, just a normal one for me.
Hope you at least had fun at the birthday event.

Generally I'm a fairly quiet person. As I have said previously, I am a family man and prefer keeping to myself. (Hence my asking Conzi and Unc to keep our exchanges respectful and not involving my family.)

I'm fairly introverted in general and talking about anything drains my social battery pretty quickly.. The thing(s) that drain it the least are conversations over shared interests. A movie enjoyed, a game each plays/played, etc.

Even then, though, my social battery will drain and I have to dip and recharge either alone or with the family. Playing an AVN, reading a book, just spending time together, etc.

They're my refuge in a lot of ways.

Well, I'm not a family man (yet). But I feel the same way with most if not all the other stuff you said.

It was a very nice time.

Spending time with family is the greatest gift.

I won't be cheesy and cliche and say that there's someone out there waiting for you, but I *will* say that I once felt that there was no one out there that could possibly love me, accept me for who I am, or ever consider raising a family with me even if they accepted the aforementioned.

..and yet here I am. I'm married, I have two daughters and a son and I can't imagine life without them.

My wife can be a bit superstitious, and even while I am not - I feel like a worthy response here is that there's a strong possibility that everything we experience is meant to happen and the older I've gotten, the more I have experienced that suggests that may be the case.

Who knows what that may mean for you, but even if that mentality is worthless BS, following what you believe to be your path is probably the best way to get to where you're meant to be.

Played VTM:R back in the day and still have the manual and guide in near pristine condition.

Absolutely amazing franchise. Not thrilled about the arena-shooter route the recent games have gone in but.. new times new tastes I suppose.

Though, my girls played Bloodhunt and both thought the game was trash so maybe there is still hope for the franchise if the company learns from the experience.
