I held on to my big ass 20" CRT monitor for so long just to keep a 4:3 aspect ratio. Thing had to weigh 50 pounds but I lugged it around to LANs all the same. Those absolutely were the days

No one can convince me that being a technonecromancer is not the best way to be. First they took your handsets so you could no longer slam down your phone to hang up. here's a true story, no really. totally true.

Was at my girlfriends place the other evening having a normal everyday conversation with her when right out of the blue she says:
"Why don't you ever invite me to your place"?

I said that I couldn't because "I live with my other girlfriend".
she almost started to cry and than got all upset and made me take her to my place, she never said a word the whole way there.

we got there & she looked everywhere for signs of another woman living with me but didn't find anything.

She than looks me right in the eye and asks:
"why would you tell me something like that".

I said:
