Activity Coins are the exact same thing as the former LC coins, it's just a rename. Nothing changed in how you earn them.

There are basically 3 changes.
The ranks get renamed into pokemon names.
Prestige 2 and Prestige 3 will become one, because all they did was offer customization options for the profile.
And that you can't buy permanent ranks with donations anymore. Those will only last for a limited amount of time.

Just keep interacting with the forum. Also the update won'd matter, because as long as you buy the ranks with "activity coins" (renamed from LC Cons) they will be permanent.

It may seem intimidating, but it's a good way to earn coins.

Also earning Members+ is even easier then before, because not long ago you would only get 5 coins per post and recieved reaction, now it's 7 and 8 coins.
