Problem is each side believe the other is idiot. Historically, there were laws preventing people to vote if they don't have a minimum level of education. Ironically, it was conservatives who defend such a law at the time but today, right wing voters are on average less educated than liberals and leftists in most developed countries.

There was actually a reason they banned literacy tests in order to vote. It was a thing in Southern (Jim Crowe/former slave) states. They had a "grandfather clause" - if your grandfather could vote so could you (which meant white people could vote even if illiterate.) If a black person tried to register, they'd have something like a Chinese newspaper they'd tell them to read.

Also, XX if a certain thing happens genetically (I don't remember - I don't have a biology degree) can be born with balls and a dick and XY with the opposite can be born with a vagina and get tits. Not sure if they're sterile. Since most people never get genetically tested, most like this would never know.

You're right about it. Sexual characteristics happen because of a complex interaction between genes. Some of those genes involved aren't even on the sexual chromosomes. That's how such cases can happen, even if it's rare. Also, agree on the fact that most people don't get genetic screening (except when there is some problem, like infertility for example), so there may be more people like that than we know.
