Do account for some drift unless you meticulously gather your interest and make your deposits the same time every day.

Obviously. This just calculates perfect performance, not variance. I guess I could improve it by adding a random variance to daily mining (+/- a certain percent), and skipping a day or two a week.
But, what's the point in a calculator that tries to predict unpredictable behavior?
